NeedleWork Your PET! Contest - Second edition

After the success of the launch of our NeedleWork Your PET contest last year, this time we decided to repeat it to give the spotlight back to our beloved pets. Our little animals fill the spaces they inhabit with joy, and we think it is good to show them our love with something made especially for them. That's why we invite you all to participate in this contest and share with us your creations made with needlework ❤️.

Regardless of the type, breed, size or age of your pet, this time we invite you to prepare a needlework, which we have no doubt will have a lot of love involved. Even if you don't have a pet of your own you can also participate in this contest: any pet who offers to model the project is welcome 😃.

This will be a great opportunity to display our creativity and focus on our pets, these members of our family who brighten our lifes ❤️.

In this contest we invite you to show us your creative process with some images, but we also want more than just a simple tutorial. In addition to telling us what is behind the project (motivations, ideas, difficulties, anecdotes, etc.), we would also like to know the story of how that cute pet came into your lives, the impact it has on our daily lives and see photos of them too! Everyone is invited to participate 🐾.

1.- Make a project inspired by your pet or a loved one's pet: it can be of any breed. Any needlework inspired by the special pet will be welcome in this contest.

2.- The post must include photos of the pet for which the project is being made. It isn't necessary for the pet and the project to be in the same physical space, but we would like to see who was the source of inspiration.

3.- All items you make must include a needle. We will also accept any form of fiber arts that has to do with knotting, braiding, felting, tying or any form of fabric and thread manipulation. You can even combine different needle work techniques together.

We invite you to let your imagination run wild when it comes to this needlework for your special pet. This project can be an outfit, an accessory, a toy, a bed, a doll with its shape, an ornament, etc. Be as creative as you want ❤️.

1.- Show at least three photos of your creative process and at least one photo of the pet that inspired the project.

2.- Include a translation into English if you write in another language.

3.- Mention the source if you publish patterns that are not your own.

4.- Comment and support at least two entries in the contest.

5.- Use the hashtag #NEEDLEWORKYOURPET.

6.- Post directly in the NeedleWorkMonday community.
