Hola Hivers! espero que se encuentren muy bien, como ya saben tengo un hermano menor llamado Bryan al cual le mandan a hacer manualidades como esta que ven hoy, en esta ocasión se trato de un cartel representativo de las costumbres de los carnavales, cosa que celebramos mucho aquí en Ciudad Bolívar específicamente en el Callao' donde se celebra por todo lo alto, esta celebración esta llena de música, alegría y muchos colores, así que ayude a mi hermano con materiales reciclables que conseguimos en casa y este fue el resultado:
Hello Hivers! I hope you are very well, as you know I have a younger brother called Bryan who is sent to make crafts like this one you see today, this time it was a poster representing the customs of carnivals, which we celebrate a lot here in Ciudad Bolivar specifically in Callao' where it is celebrated in style, this celebration is full of music, joy and lots of colours, so I helped my brother with recyclable materials that we got at home and this was the result:
Lo primero fue pegar unos tubos pequeños de plástico en cada extremo del papel bond para conseguir el efecto del pergamino cuando se le doblan las orillas
The first step was to glue small plastic tubes to each end of the bond paper to get the effect of parchment when the edges are folded over.
Luego hicimos las letras con una cartulina naranja vieja, remarcamos las letras con marcador negro y las pegamos al papel bond
We then made the letters out of old orange cardboard, outlined the letters with black marker and glued them to the bond paper.
Para darle ese toque carnavalesco utilizamos dos mascaras que se encontraban guardadas y cinta de colores que usamos en los cumpleaños, los pegamos en el papel bond según como mi hermano lo quiso
To give it that carnival touch we used two masks that were in storage and coloured tape that we use for birthdays, we stuck them on the bond paper as my brother wanted it.
Utilizamos la palabra " Carnestolendas " por que así fue su origen y luego solo quedo como " Carnaval o Carnavalesco ", es divertido compartir tiempo con mi hermano y hacer esta clase de manualidades ya que pongo a prueba su destreza y habilidades y en mi caso pongo a prueba mi paciencia y amor hacia el jajaja gracias por leer!
We use the word "Carnestolendas" because that's how his origel was and then it just became "Carnaval or Carnavalesco", it's fun to share time with my brother and do this kind of crafts because I test his skills and abilities and in my case I test my patience and love for him hahaha thanks for reading!
