Una lámpara siempre nos viene bien, ya sea para colocar en un espacio como la sala de nuestro hogar o quizás para la habitación de los niños. Particularmente en mi caso, la he elaborado para colocarla sobre una mesa en el cuarto de mi nieta, pues ella tiene la costumbre de dormir con el bombillo encendido y me parece que es más cómodo dejarle una luz menor. Y aquí es donde entra la utilidad de la presente pieza, que además de resolver la problemática de la luz, viene a ser una tierna pieza decorativa al espacio de mi nieta.
A lamp is always good for us, whether to place it in a space like the living room of our home or perhaps for the children's room. Particularly in my case, I have made it to place it on a table in my granddaughter's room, since she has the habit of sleeping with the light bulb on and I think it is more comfortable to leave a lower light on. And this is where the usefulness of this piece comes in, which in addition to solving the problem of light, is a tender decorative piece for my granddaughter's space.

Se trata de una Lámpara de Mariposa que tiene figuras de relieve, sin embargo la personalización de la pieza es infinita y a creatividad de cada uno, además del gusto.
But before moving on to the tutorial, I would like to say hello:
Hello friends of Hive, especially those present in the Hive DIY community, I am happy to be in this space today and share with you my most recent recycling project. It is a Butterfly Lamp that has relief figures, however the personalization of the piece is infinite and depends on each person's creativity, in addition to taste.

Una de las cosas que me ha gustado mucho de este proyecto es sin lugar a dudas el toque de ternura, utilidad y además lo económico que resulta. Lo que lo convierte en una actividad ideal para hacer en casa o para un obsequio. La lámpara se encuentra hecha a partir de un envase de plástico, que he cubierto con cartulina escolar, lo más costoso sería las luces y yo he usado unas que ya tenía en casa de unas navidades pasadas.
One of the things that I really liked about this project is without a doubt the touch of tenderness, usefulness and also how economical it is. Which makes it an ideal activity to do at home or as a gift. The lamp is made from a plastic container, which I have covered with school cardboard, the most expensive thing would be the lights and I have used some that I already had at home from last Christmas.

Proceso de Creación / Creation Process
Collage 1
Medimos lo alto que deseamos la lámpara, calculando el espacio que ocuparan las luces que luego insertaremos. Con la ayuda de un cutter cortamos de manera horizontal y alineamos con la tijera. En un trozo de papel aparte, dibujamos la silueta de la mariposa o la figura que deseemos plasmar en nuestra lámpara. Seguidamente tomamos la lámina rosa de cartulina, la cual estoy usando una medida de tamaño carta. A lo ancho de la misma, dibujamos con un palillo de altura la silueta, repartimos las mismas a gusto. Después con ayuda del cutter y tijera, iremos poco a poco cortando la silueta de la mariposa, exceptuando la parte media. Al terminar el paso anterior, con el molde inicial calcamos las mariposas en una cartulina blanca y cortamos. Como he colocado 4 mariposas a lo ancho de la cartulina rosa, necesitaré 4 mariposas blancas.
Collage 1
We measure how high we want the lamp, calculating the space that the lights that we will later insert will occupy. With the help of a cutter we cut horizontally and align with the scissors. On a separate piece of paper, we draw the silhouette of the butterfly or the figure that we want to capture in our lamp. Next we take the pink sheet of cardboard, which I am using a letter size measurement. Along its width, we draw the silhouette with a tall toothpick, distributing them as desired. Then, with the help of the cutter and scissors, we will gradually cut out the silhouette of the butterfly, except for the middle part. At the end of the previous step, with the initial mold we trace the butterflies on a white cardboard and cut. Since I have placed 4 butterflies across the width of the pink cardstock, I will need 4 white butterflies.
Collage 2
Con la perforadora de papel, haremos orificios repartidos por la cartulina rosa. Pueden ser desordenados o siguiendo algún patrón de diseño, para mi caso he usado el modo desordenado. Ahora tomamos las mariposas blancas que ya hemos cortado y con pega, las unimos desde y solo por el centro con las mariposas de la cartulina rosada. Le damos algo de forma, para que parecieran que levantan sus alas (me encanta este efecto). Cubrimos el envase plástico con la cartulina rosa, para fijarlo bien usaremos silicon.
Collage 2
With the paper hole punch, we will make holes distributed throughout the pink cardboard. They can be disordered or follow some design pattern, in my case I have used the disordered mode. Now we take the white butterflies that we have already cut and with glue, we join them from and only in the center with the butterflies from the pink cardboard. We give them some shape, so that they look like they are raising their wings (I love this effect). We cover the plastic container with pink cardboard, to secure it well we will use silicone.
Collage 3
Para asegurar la unión y prolijidad, podemos colocar un trozo adicional de cartulina rosa que cubra la unión de la cartulina base al envase plástico. Con el marcador, dibujamos las antenas de las mariposas. He realizado un corte en la unión y refuerzo, de un rectángulo y por allí saldrá el cable conector de las luces.
Collage 3
To ensure the union and neatness, we can place an additional piece of pink cardboard that covers the union of the base cardboard to the plastic container. With the marker, we draw the antennae of the butterflies. I have made a cut in the union and reinforcement, of a rectangle and from there the connecting cable for the lights will come out.
