Today I wanted to make a drawing of Glimmo, well, to color it, because I’m returning to another drawing inspired by Inktober. I drew Glimmo back then running while being chased by bees; it was my favorite drawing from that week of Zingtober, and I couldn’t leave it just in black and white ink. I wanted to color it, and digitally, since I still have the traditional drawing. I liked how fun this drawing is and Glimmo’s expression, it’s one of my drawings with the best facial...

Using a sketch brush, I started working on the pose. The raised hand was a bit tricky, ngl. 😆 It should look like a hand and not a blob, and fingers sticking out, haha. So, yeah, I tried it a couple of times until it looked like a hand. The background would be a green field and white flowers, just like in the reference. On another layer, I used my favorite brush for the lineart...

Here I am with my coffee and a brand new illustration, a new fanart for this community in which I took Infurnal and transformed him into the Herald of the Sun, the wolf with the hottest fire in existence. I think the concept turned out great, and this is now my new favorite of the recent ones. As always, you can see the creation process here...

Today I decided to make a fanart of the evolved form of the Sealion. In the reveal blog it was mentioned that this evolved form can unleash these jellyfish like creatures into the battle when the need arises. These little guys are stored inside his tail. I guess this Sealion holomon has a seperate environment inside it's body to keep them alive. That's a cool addition if you ask me. I'm sure that's going to come as a surprise during the battle. I wonder what they...

I started by sketching the character as a thumbnail to decide on the pose and composition of the image. Finally, I cleaned up the lines and drew the lineart. I then created a colour palette similar to the reference image and applied a fill layer to the character, using a grey base colour to serve as a layer mask. Once I’d finished with the base colours, I moved on to creating the shadows. I used a cel-shading style combined with soft finishes, making use of the airbrush and hard brush tools...

As usual, I bring you a new work of art. I have previously been inspired by the same creature, as the technique I practice is very versatile and I can create different models of elements or of the same character as such. Today I was inspired by Cinerella and the Forest Healer, so I’m sharing a decorative piece featuring some of the shapes and colors of these lovely characters, created using the quilling technique...

The first thing I did was sketch a box, which served as the base for drawing the Xolos inside. To achieve these straight lines, you just need to hold the Shift key and click on the starting and ending points... I know you might already know that, but since others might not, I wanted to share it. Originally, there were going to be three Xolos, but I figured two would look good along with a butterfly in the middle. For the line art, I used this brush in black; you can see its name and settings here. It’s not one I use...

Today we’re back with a new drawing and a detailed blog covering the details of my latest fan art, where I once again feature a character I love: Ocean Healer. This protector of the waters with blue hair will be the direct inspiration for this drawing. I hope you like the final result. I tried my best to imitate a magazine cover, and for that I used part of the Holozing logo that I got from the web...

I'm wrapping up my day with a new fanart for the community. It's a more powerful form of WALL-E based on a katana. I think the ocean theme goes really well with the Japanese aesthetic, and that's exactly what I had in mind: an ultra-fast and sharp form for this creature. As always, you'll see the process here...

Today I made the forest healer bracelet and I quite like the healer logo I created for it and I am glad to share this piece with you guys. Picking the suitable colours for this piece was a little bit of struggle, I just kept on adding and changing the shade of green colour I used, I was pretty much indecisive about it but just made up...
