Aprendiendo a ser - Iniciativa: La vida de estudiante es la mejor (Español/Ingles)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, me encanta volver a estar en la hermosa comunidad de Holos&Lotus que, como me gusta afirmarlo siempre, es una de mis favoritas. Esta vez fui invitada por mi querida Hive account@aly.squid a este bello espacio propuesto por la bellísima Hive account@charjaim, se trata de la iniciativa La vida de estudiante es la mejor y me encanta poder estar aquí, pues definitivamente si hay una etapa de mi vida que disfrute al máximo fue mi época como estudiante.

Muchos hablan de sus años en la escuela abrazando esa hermosa niñez que hacía que todo fuera una grata aventura. Otros se regocijan recordando los años en el colegio, allí donde la juventud era un motor indetenible y todo era posible, desde las travesuras más osadas, hasta los amores más dramáticos. Por mi parte, la época de estudiante que recuerdo con más cariño fue la etapa en la universidad.

Siempre me he sentido una persona muy afortunada, corrí con la suerte de estudiar en una universidad muy prestigiosa en la ciudad de Maracaibo, y también con tener carro propio desde el segundo semestre, algo que me dio mucha independencia y me permitió escoger el horario nocturno para mis clases, ya que en ese turno estudiaban personas mayores que ya tenían años dedicándose a la administración y eso hacia las clases más interesantes, exigentes y dinámicas, por la socialización de sus experiencias.

Así que además de tener las condiciones ideales para que mis días en la universidad transcurrieran plenamente, también fueron unos años llenos de experiencias que me enriquecieron a nivel personal y profesional. En lo relacionado a la carrera siempre fui muy disciplinada en los estudios, de hecho me gradué con uno de los promedios más altos en toda la universidad, algo que siempre me enorgulleció pues requirió de mi esfuerzo y determinación.

En cuanto a lo personal, debo decir que tuve aprendizajes muy importantes, descubrí muchas cosas sobre mí y sobre mi forma de ver y relacionarme con los demás. Pienso también que allí en la universidad construí bases bastante sólidas, para desarrollar mi sistema de valores y principios. Un ejemplo de ello, es la forma en que experimente la amistad y los vínculos, allí conocí a mujeres maravillosas, que me enseñaron mucho y a quienes yo brinde todo lo bueno que pude, gracias a lo que viví con ellas entendí algo que me gusta afirmar constantemente y es que: Yo soy una gran amiga. Esto no lo aprendí desde el ego o la pretensión, sino desde la responsabilidad que conlleva, ser una buena amiga me ha enseñado a brindar cuidados, atenciones, apoyos y cariño incondicional.

También me encontré con mi sentido ético y me permití abrazarlo y aferrarme a él sin miedo, como cuando me toco escoger una empresa para hacer mis pasantías y una de las mejores opciones era La Bigott, una empresa dedicada a comercializar cigarrillos, yo me negué rotundamente pues está en contra de mis principios trabajar con un producto que destruye tantas vidas. Así que hice mis pasantías con menos comodidades ni beneficios pero no me traicione. Esto lo descubrí en la universidad y me ha ayudado a lo largo de mi vida a conducirme por el camino correcto, y más en el campo de la administración donde siempre me llegaron con propuestas corruptas y torcidas y pude decir No a cada una de ellas.

Una de las experiencias más linda que viví como estudiante universitaria, fue formar parte de varios grupos de estudio, donde yo era la que explicaba. Todo comenzó porque debido a mis buenas calificaciones mis compañeros empezaron a pedirme ayuda para las clases de matemática, lógica, contabilidad, matemática financiera, informática, entre otras. Las primeras veces me preguntaban cuánto cobraba por explicarles, pues algunas personas se resuelven económicamente trabajando así, pero yo nunca cobre, todo lo contrario, veía esto como una forma de ayudar a los otros y yo también aprender. Durante toda la carrera estos grupos de estudio facilitaron mis aprendizajes y me generaba mucha satisfacción saber que mis amigas y compañeros también mejoraban sus calificaciones y se les facilitaba alcanzar su meta de graduarse.

Allí me encontré con otra parte muy linda de mí, que valoro y atesoro mucho, es mi disposición al servicio. Siempre he pensado que vinimos a esta vida a servir y he realizado esta práctica en todos los momentos de mi vida, pero allí en la universidad lo hice por primera vez y con resultados tan visibles y satisfactorios para las personas a quien ayude y por ende para mí.

Son muchas las anécdotas y los sentires para compartir, ahora mismo me siento desbordada. Pero por ahora solo compartiré estas experiencias, estoy segura de que vendrán más oportunidades para seguirnos contando. A loving greeting to all my Hive friends, I am delighted to be back in the beautiful community of Holos&Lotus which, as I always like to say, is one of my favorites. This time I was invited by my dear Hive account@aly.squid to this beautiful space proposed by the beautiful Hive account@charjaim, it is the initiative Student life is the best and I love being here, because definitely if there is a stage of my life that I enjoyed to the fullest was my time as a student.

Many talk about their school years embracing that beautiful childhood that made everything a pleasant adventure. Others rejoice remembering their school years, where youth was an unstoppable engine and everything was possible, from the most daring pranks to the most dramatic love affairs. As for me, the time I remember most fondly as a student was my time at university.

I have always felt myself a very lucky person, I was fortunate to study at a very prestigious university in the city of Maracaibo, and also to have my own car since the second semester, something that gave me a lot of independence and allowed me to choose the night shift for my classes, since in that shift there were older people who had already spent years working in administration and that made the classes more interesting, demanding and dynamic, because of the socialization of their experiences.

So, in addition to having the ideal conditions for my days at the university to pass fully, they were also years full of experiences that enriched me personally and professionally. I was always very disciplined in my studies, in fact I graduated with one of the highest grade point averages in the whole university, something that always made me proud because it required my effort and determination.

On a personal level, I must say that I learned a lot about myself and about my way of seeing and relating to others. I also think that at the university I built a very solid foundation to develop my system of values and principles. An example of this is the way in which I experienced friendship and bonds, there I met wonderful women, who taught me a lot and to whom I gave all the good I could, thanks to what I lived with them I understood something that I like to affirm constantly and is that: I am a great friend. I did not learn this from ego or pretension, but from the responsibility that comes with it, being a good friend has taught me to provide care, attention, support and unconditional love.

I also found my ethical sense and I allowed myself to embrace it and hold on to it without fear, like when I had to choose a company to do my internships and one of the best options was La Bigott, a company dedicated to commercialize cigarettes, I flatly refused because it is against my principles to work with a product that destroys so many lives. So I did my internships with less comfort and benefits but I did not betray myself. I discovered this in college and it has helped me throughout my life to lead me on the right path, and more so in the field of administration where I was always approached with corrupt and crooked proposals and I was able to say No to each one of them.

One of the most beautiful experiences I had as a university student was to be part of several study groups, where I was the one who explained. It all started because due to my good grades my classmates started to ask me for help in mathematics, logic, accounting, financial mathematics, computer science, among others. The first few times they asked me how much I charged for explaining, because some people are economically solvent working like this, but I never charged, on the contrary, I saw this as a way to help others and I also learn. Throughout my career, these study groups facilitated my learning and it gave me great satisfaction to know that my friends and classmates also improved their grades and made it easier for them to reach their goal of graduating.

There I found another beautiful part of me that I value and treasure very much: my willingness to serve. I have always thought that we came to this life to serve and I have done this practice at all times of my life, but there at the university I did it for the first time and with such visible and satisfactory results for the people I help and therefore for me.

There are many anecdotes and feelings to share, right now I feel overwhelmed. But for now I will only share these experiences, I am sure that there will be more opportunities to continue telling us.
