Vean a continuación:

naces, alma (estabas muerta).
Yo no sé lo que ha pasado en este tiempo:
tú dormías, esperando ser eterna.
Y por mucho que te cante la alta música
de las nubes, y por mucho que te quieran
explicar las criaturas por qué evocan
aquel tiempo negro y frío, aunque pretendas
hacer tuya tanta vida derramada
(era vida, y tú dormías), ya no llegas
a alcanzar la plenitud de su alegría:
tú dormías cuando todo estaba en vela.
Tierra nuestra, vida nuestra, tiempo nuestro...

Secrets of memory and the sleeping soul
Dear readers, beautiful Holos & Lotus Community,
Hive account@holos-lotus
Hive account@miriannalis
Hive account@yonnathang,
Hive account@damarysvibra; today perhaps more within my map than ever, I bring you a content that sprouted like a spark in my awakening and forced me to inspect my brain memory files and walk through the corridors of Google and YouTube to find the source of said spark .
I think that my musical memory is quite reduced, compared to the immensity of memories that must be housed in my brain at this point in my life; That's why I was surprised to wake up with the fragment of a musical composition that I was singing in my sleep: "come back now/ my soul is asleep". And between dreams I struggled not to lose the rhythm and think about the meaning of "sleeping soul".
Memory storage
In my search I found a verse linked to this memory. The verse is part of the lyrics of the song Corazón Cobarde, by the Venezuelan performer and composer Alfredo Parra. Here you can find the complete lyrics [1].
Fragment of the lyrics of Corazón Cowarde, by Alfredo Parra:
I always carry you in my mind
Like an indelible memory
And my soul is asleep
Tired of waiting so long
But I was not satisfied, for although it was a significant verse to my memories, it was only one line. Also neither the rest of the lyrics nor the music meant anything to me, so I kept looking.
And suddenly, in the meantime, musical notes, song names and performers came and went, the melody came to me: Your swallow soul, by Jairo. It gave me great joy to recognize the music and I happily hummed some verses, but... none of them included "my soul is asleep"!
I looked up the lyrics and read it several times, in disbelief. Then I discovered that a transformation of the lyrics of "Tu alma golondrina" had taken place in my cerebral spheres.
This is the Chorus of Jairus' song:
And so you suddenly left
No goodbye, no farewell
Come back since without your love
My hands are empty. (BIS)
And the central verse of my memories entered the verse of the Choir, remaining like this:
And so you suddenly left
No goodbye, no farewell
Come back since without your love
My soul is asleep. (BIS)
Luckily everything happened in my mind, (LOL) otherwise I would have to account for the inclusion of an apocryphal verse, within Jairo's composition.
I share with you below, Tu alma golondrina, from YouTube and if you want to read the complete lyrics, you will find it in [3].

Why did I make that change?
Well, it is a secret of memory and the sleeping soul.
What does the sleeping soul have to do with empty hands?. I challenge you, dear readers, to leave me your interpretation in the comments or in a post about it. I would love to elucidate the issue with the support of your comments.
As for the image of the "sleeping soul", it may come from my time reading the classics, since it is the first line of the Coplas by Jorge Manrique, motivated by the death of the father of the. See below:

And it persists as an image in recent authors, serve as an example the poem "Alma Dormida", by the Spanish author José Hierro, where the image takes over the content of the poem and constitutes its title.
SLEEPING SOUL [5]
I lay down on the grass between the logs
that leaf by leaf undressed its beauty.
I left the soul that dreamed:
she would wake up again in the spring.
The world is born again, again
you are born, soul (you were dead).
I don't know what has happened in this time:
you slept, hoping to be eternal.
And as much as loud music sings to you
of the clouds, and as much as they love you
explain the creatures why they evoke
that black and cold time, although you pretend
make so much spilled life yours
(it was life, and you were sleeping), you no longer arrive
to reach the fullness of your joy:
you slept when all was awake.
Our land, our life, our time...
(My soul, who told you to sleep!)
My dear readers, this experience with the secrets of my memory and sleeping soul, led me to great reflections:
1.- I have much more stored in my memory than I think I have.
2.- There are floodgates of the subconscious that open without us rationally knowing why.
3.- When one of these floodgates, entering it will enrich our present.
