Good afternoon, Paloma. I confess I'm not familiar with Chillida's work, although what little I do know has always intrigued me. I'm fascinated by what he calls the dialogue with space, how certain forms can create space or transform it.

Of the exhibition, I was most struck by the collages; perhaps they were the most surprising part for me, and as you rightly say, the drawings are clearly those of a sculptor. ... And you're not being at all sentimental, or maybe I am too!
