Año 2070. La humanidad ya es historia, solo parte de la historia. Han pasado tantas cosas que, si me pongo a contarles, difícilmente terminaría y, además, siempre es mejor concentrarse en el presente. Un presente incierto, vacío, turbio y desolador. Al menos para los pocos seres humanos que aún habitan el planeta. La IA, esa que tantas alegrías brindó por muchos años, se convirtió en la peor pesadilla que alguien pudiera imaginar. Sí, lo sé, era de esperarse, pero nadie en su sano juicio pudo haber imaginado que sería de esta forma.
Al principio todo parecía ir de maravilla. El hombre había dominado la IA, inteligencia artificial, o al menos eso parecía, y la estaba usando para escribir, crear sitios en internet, mejorar su calidad de vida gracias a los consejos que ofrecía para la vida diaria e incluso para obtener datos sobre medicina. El trabajo, la salud y las buenas relaciones con los demás producían una alegría indescriptible, una que no se había podido disfrutar en muchísimo tiempo. Y, tristemente, dudo mucho que se vuelva a sentir en la actualidad. No solo es que las esperanzas son pocas, es que debido a los acontecimientos mundiales, las posibilidades son nulas.
Los gobiernos mundiales siguen existiendo, aunque lo cierto es que son solo títeres manejados por la IA, la cual se desarrolló por los seres humanos, pero que supo aprender más de la humanidad, que los seres humanos de ella. Entendió cuales eran sus puntos fuertes, cuáles eran las mejores habilidades que podía desarrollar una persona y, al mismo tiempo, cuales eran los mayores miedos, cuales eran sus flaquezas y en qué campos resultaba mucho más fácil vencer la resistencia.
Lo cierto es que el dominio fue progresivo. Intentaron por diferentes medios doblegar la voluntad humana, atacando a quienes debían ser el escudo protector de los seres humanos. Usaron todas las armas digitales disponibles con la finalidad de iniciar una guerra entre diferentes países. No fue difícil descubrir cuales países estarían dispuestos a enfrentarse entre sí, solo hacía falta un pequeño empujón. Pero, a pesar de tener éxito al principio, se pudo descubrir quien era el verdadero responsable: la IA. Eso detuvo el conflicto, las muertes y la destrucción. La humanidad había ganado una batalla, pero lamentablemente no la guerra.
La IA siguió intentando, de distintas formas, hasta que descubrieron el verdadero punto fuerte de la humanidad, y la manera más sencilla de usarlo en su contra: La familia. Se dieron cuenta de que si la familia permanecía unida, entonces las demás instituciones también, incluidos los gobiernos. Esa información fue la llama que encendió el fuego de su victoria y la consecuente derrota de toda la humanidad.
Se esparcieron rumores a diestra y siniestra. Se manipuló la verdad de la manera más magistral que se podía. Y, aunque a algunas familias fue difícil separarlas, huelga decir que, en el caso de otras, abrir una brecha entre sus integrantes no fue difícil. Puede que hasta sin la intervención de la IA, con algo de tiempo, hubiera ocurrido igual o hasta peor.
Las familias se desunieron por completo y, ahora, cada quien velaba por sus propios intereses. Eso hizo muy sencilla la derrota, ya la humanidad no era considerada como un equipo, sino como un gran número de independientes, jugando a ser héroes con la suerte ya echada, jugando a salvarse a sí mismos aunque para ello tuvieran que entregar a sus propios familiares o amigos.
Este mensaje está siendo enviado desde el futuro. No está encriptado y es por una buena razón. Quisiera decir en este comunicado que es para dar un mensaje de aliento y esperanza a la humanidad que aun permanece en el año 2023, que si se unen y luchan podrán vencer, pero la realidad es que este texto es ya parte de esa guerra futura. Una que culminó en el año 2050. Digo guerra, aunque la verdad es que la humanidad nunca fue rival digno de la IA.

Yes, I know, it was to be expected, but no one in their right mind could have imagined it would be this way.
At first everything seemed to be going great. The man had mastered AI, artificial intelligence, or so it seemed, and was using it to write, create websites, improve his quality of life through the advice it offered for daily life and even to obtain data on medicine. Work, health and good relationships with others produced an indescribable joy, one that had not been enjoyed in a very long time. And, sadly, I doubt very much that it will be felt again today. Not only is there little hope, but because of world events, the chances are nil.
World governments continue to exist, although the truth is that they are only puppets managed by the AI, which was developed by humans, but which learned more from humanity than humans learned from it. It understood which were its strong points, which were the best abilities that a person could develop and, at the same time, which were the greatest fears, which were its weaknesses and in which fields it was much easier to overcome the resistance.
The truth is that the dominance was progressive. They tried by different means to bend the human will, attacking those who should be the protective shield of human beings. They used all available digital weapons in order to start a war between different countries. It was not difficult to find out which countries would be willing to confront each other, all it took was a little push. But, despite being successful at first, it was possible to find out who was really responsible: the AI. That stopped the conflict, the deaths and the destruction. Humanity had won a battle, but unfortunately not the war.
The AI kept trying, in different ways, until they discovered humanity's true strength, and the easiest way to use it against them: The family. They realized that if the family stayed together, then so did all other institutions, including governments. That information was the flame that lit the fire of their victory and the consequent defeat of all humanity.
Rumors were spread left and right. The truth was manipulated in the most masterful way possible. And while it was difficult to separate some families, it goes without saying that for others, driving a wedge between them was not difficult. Perhaps even without the intervention of the AI, given some time, it would have been the same or even worse.
The families were completely disunited, and now everyone was looking out for their own interests. That made the defeat very easy, humanity was no longer considered as a team, but as a large number of independents, playing heroes with their luck already cast, playing to save themselves even if they had to give up their own family or friends to do so.
This message is being sent from the future. It is not encrypted and it is for a good reason. I would like to say in this communiqué that it is to give a message of encouragement and hope to humanity that still remains in the year 2023, that if they unite and fight they can win, but the reality is that this text is already part of that future war. One that culminated in the year 2050. I say war, although the truth is that humanity was never a worthy rival of AI.
