Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Yodin Saved Me Big Time!

Time flies! Just completed the 22nd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

Staying In Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me. Had 6 battles this time and I can only say I'm lucky to have Yodin Zaku.

We Got 2nd

So for the final result, we returned to the podium this time, finished 2nd out of 9 guilds and got 862 Merits!

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I managed only 2 wins! Ended up near the bottom of the ranks, which was expected.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Orella Abadon

My Fire lineup struggled against a Earth/Queen Mycelia lineup but fortunately, Yodin Zaku's Blast was enough for me to scrape through this battle with a win.

Battle 2 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

Went with a 13 HP Gorth hoping to get some Bloodlust but it turned out to be a bad choice. On hindsight, I should have stuck with a Cleanse card.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Chimney Wallstop

Chimney Wallstop was perfect for this Reverse Speed battle but once again it was Yodin Zaku's Blast that ripped the opponent's team apart and all my 6 cards survived.

Battle 4 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

I managed to squeeze in 5 cards in this 12 mana battle but my strategy was disrupted by the opposing Uraeus which took out my cards from the backline instead.

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway

I went into this battle feeling confident that Trapp Falloway was going to get this win for me but he came up slightly short against the dreaded Quora Towershead. No chance at all.

Battle 6 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Alva The Crusher

Once again, I put up a strong Water lineup but was unable to overcome the self healing Kron on the opposing team and my team just died from Poison after a few rounds.
