Introduction
Hi! here playing Splinterlands everyday!
This is Exploring the Chaos where I take a look on Chaos Legion cards including their subsets such as Riftwatchers and the Reward cards, as they brought new abilities and strategies that changes how the game was played.
For the latest series of my review, I finally have the opportunity to take a deep dive on the core Chaos Legion set after finally being done with the rewards and subset so I started with the core commons. So far, I am done with the Fire, Water and Life Elements and for this weeks review, I will go with the Earth Element.

Odd Ones Out | Only monsters with Odd Mana cost may be used in battle. |
Noxious Fumes | All monsters start the battle poisoned. |
Born Again | All Monsters have the |
For this 26 mana battle, I used Mycelic Morphoid with the remaining 1 mana and placed it on Front so that if the opponent has any melee monsters that could attack this card, they will received some damage back or reduce their armor if they have some and you see how it was attacked by Venari Scout and lost 2 health when it does not even attack.
Battle 2: Venari Knifer

Melee Mayhem |
On this battle, I used Venari Knifer for my tank and just like Mycelic Morphoid, it also have the Thorns ability which melee monsters will receive damage if they attack this cards and when they miss, they also receive damage because of Backfire so when the attack from Unicorn mustang hit, it also receives 2 damage.
Battle 3: Hill Giant and Goblin Psychic
| Conditions | Description |

Diamond League Modern Format | 32 Mana Cap Available Elements: Link: https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_bf8cadc92667ab9cc2b3ed2a0376e316&ref=saydie |

Healed Out | All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners. |
Super Sneak | All Melee attack Monsters have the |
For this next battle, I used Hill Giant as my tank which only cost 3 mana to use but if you compared it with Task the Wide which is the tank of the opponent, it only has 4 more health than Hill Giant and was very slow so it would likely to miss more attack compared to Hill Giant and at the beginning of the first round it was also able to inflict Stun that makes Tusk the Wide unable to attack and eventually defeats it by the next round.
I also have Goblin Psychic which can provide Tank Heal to my monsters while preventing the opponent to heal with Affliction and in the same round, after it has deal 2 damage on Tusk the Wide, it has also Dispel the Inspire ability on Tusk the Wide which turns its attack from 4 to only 3 now.
Final Thoughts
I'm now on the fourth week of my review for the core common cards of Chaos Legion and has tackled the Earth element. The cards on this set were also mostly melee monsters with the exception of Goblin Psychic that uses magic and was undeniably an excellent card with the Tank Heal and Silence alone but it also has Affliction and Dispel. Hill Giant also one of my most commonly used common cards on the Earth element given its high health and low mana cost with the capability to Stun the opponent. Aside from that, I find it quite hard to use the rest of them on the modern format aside maybe if I use Lux Vega.
And that was it for this review. See you on my next post!
