The Battle that I will show to you this week was from my which is an alternate account of mine playing manually in the Diamond Modern League using Max level Chaos Legion deck borrowed from NFTY Arcade. Before I show you the battle, let us learn more about this ruleset.
Also in this post are the details on how to get a free weekly SPS delegation. You can read the details below.
Little League
Lost Magic | Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position.. If you have melee monsters in the back-line with Sneak or Opportunity, those abilities take precedence. |
Some Useful Cards for Melee Mayhem
When selecting a team, choose a summoner that increases melee attack or a summoner that reduces melee attack of enemies + a tank with Shield. Thorns, Inspire, Blast, Retaliate, and Demoralize will help in this ruleset.

My Team
For this battle, we have the featured rule set Melee Mayhem were the melee monsters can attack wherever their position is along with Up Close & Personal which means that only melee monsters can be used and Healed Out so any type of heal cannot be used in battle. Given this conditions, my lineup was consist of.
Summoner: I used Tarsa since this summoner gives +1 additional damage on all ally melee monsters and +1 Health.
1st Position: Antoid Platoon was an ideal tank for small mana match since it has the Shield ability that reduces the damage that it can received and will gain more health, for every monster that was beaten wit Scavenger.
2nd Position: Venator Kinjo provides Immunity which means it cannot be infected with negative status effects while also providing Reflection Shield which means it is also immune on reflected and indirect damage. It also has Slow that will reduce the speed of the opponent and Camouflage that prevents them to be seen by the opponent.
3rd Position: Scorch Fiend does not have abilities at gold level but this card can served as a target for Opportunity attacks.
4th Position: Exploding Rats has the Blast ability which can deal damage on the monsters adjacent to the target together with Redemption that will deal damage on all opponent monsters when it was defeated.
- 6th Position: Orella Abadon is week at level 1 Bust has the Sneak ability to attack backline targets and Bloodlust that will increase all the stats when defeated a monster.
- 5th Position: Disintegrator has the Demoralize which reduces the damage of the attackr and has the Trample that will attack the monster that attacked this card.

Battle Recap
Here is a replay of the battle which at you can watch at Splinterlands.
Did your Strategy Work?
This is melee battle in a true sense with no range and magic attacks included so it really was convenient that the Melee Mayhem ruleset was also in play. The battle seemed to be fast but that was only because the Trample from Disintegrator and the Blast from Explosive rats, monsters that on a standard ruleset cannot attack on other position, other than the front was able to fully maximize their abilities and deal the outmost damage while Antoid Platoon provides a strong defense with its Shield. The battle only last 2 rounds but got me the win and also help to improve the ranking of my guild for the last brawl.
That was it for this post. Thank you and see you at the next one.
