馃摕 Two weeks ago I published post about the possibility of listening to radio from around the world on ham radio equipment. Such a radio station is very complex and its antenna is several dozen meters long. It allows you to hear more :)
馃摕 Today I recorded a short fragment of a radio broadcast from Asia, probably China, and the radio is China International Radio. Once upon a time, I was interested and I remembered what time Polish broadcasts started. I haven't been interested in it for a long time, so I don't remember the details, but I think there are programs every day for an hour or two. Most songs are played, but the radio operator also speaks Polish. I think he's a radio guy, although I had the impression that he had a slight problem with computer speech. But I don't think there is a Polish speech synthesizer with a Chinese accent, so it's probably a real person :) The topic of the program is usually related to Asian life and their culture.
馃摕 You can listen to the radio on a frequency of 6020kHz with AM modulation. This radio probably broadcasts from the city of Shijiazhuang in China, its transmitting power is specific, about 500kW. I have a radio station at home and I have a license to transmit with a power of 500 W, so if you quickly calculate, they transmit with a power of about 1000 times greater. Having consented to the power of 500 watts from UKE, I never transmit with that power, the maximum is 100 watts - that's what the radio allows me to do. But these 100W allow me to communicate with the whole world, so there is no shortage of power, although sometimes I could use more 馃槑
