I came across this piece in a fire sale my bullion dealer was having. For some reason, not many people had purchased these. Gold is gold to me, so I bought a couple to add to the stack.
Obverse(Source)
The obverse has a picture of the phrase "The Gold Standard" at the top. This references when gold coin was the money, and not the paper backed by broken dreams and empty promises that we have today. The picture of weighing scales highlights the emphasis on accuracy in weight and also integrity.
Reverse(Source)
The reverse has the standard portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and a denomination of "25 Pounds."

They stopped making these in 2020. Likely, this was due to not selling as well as other designs. It's very simplistic, but I like it. I don’t believe these really have any collector's value, so you may be able to find these cheaper than other gold coins on the market.
Each month, I give away a $1 Goldback or 4 HBD. The winner gets to choose.
Note: Some countries may have prohibitively expensive shipping or delivery, which may not be feasible. I reserve the right to award the winner 4 HBD instead of a Goldback at my discretion.
