Since 2019, Niue has featured Mickey Mouse in a Christmas scene. This silver coin is the third release of Mickey Mouse.

2021 Niue Disney Mickey Mouse Merry Christmas

The obverse depicts Elizabeth II and the reverse features Mickey Mouse holding a wreath with the phrase "Merry Christmas".

The silver coin is officially licensed by Disney. The face value of two dollars is backed by the Niue government. It is made of 1 oz .999 fine silver.
