Different sizes and denominations of Chinese Silver Pandas are produced. The most popular Chinese Silver Panda coins weigh thirty grams and are made of 999 pure silver. Their diameter is 40 mm, and their thickness is somewhat less than 3 mm.
The People's Republic of China is home to several mints that have produced Chinese Silver Panda coins. Since mints often do not employ mintmarks, it is not always possible to identify the exact origin of each coin; some minor design changes have been observed on recent issues.
Shanghai, Shenyang, and Shenzhen are the mints that make the Chinese Silver Pandas. Variations might occasionally result from the fact that everyone produces the coins using their own styles and methods.

The reverse of the silver coin, which features a different design every year, is the inspiration for the name of the silver bullion coin. A recurrent motif in the design is the panda, which is seen annually engaging in a new activity. Even though the design varies, the face value of each silver coin is also stamped on the reverse of the coin in several places.

The Chinese Silver Panda coin is highly sought after because of the panda's dual status as one of the most popular and well-known wild creatures and one of the rarest in the world today.
I like to celebrate the harmony this lovely animal symbolizes by making sure I get a piece each year for my collection.
