The more I want to snack
And I know it is a bad habit, unhealthy I've been told.
Minced-meat hot dog
Already I was thinking about this snack during my evening walk. Building up an appetite. Haven't had dinner yet, so I guess that did not help either. It was a nice relaxing walk. Finally the dark rain clouds had started to disappear. Just had a peek at the predictions for tomorrow, sun was promised, but again some showers during the day. Too cold for this time a year. Something Dutchlanders do a lot is talk (complain mostly, lol) about the weather. We also do like food a lot too and talk about it. Not the second most popular subject I think. How about your place on this planet, what's your favorite subject to talk about with others?
The evening snack I prepared is known in the Nederish language as 'Frikandel Speciaal'. It is like a kind of minced-meat hot dog cut open, filled with cut onions, mayonnaise and curry sauce. Did not deep fry the 'Frikandel' but prepared them in the electric oven. (Not 'Dutch Oven' mind you.) And you know, I think it makes no sense that the things that are supposed to be bad for us are the most appreciated things, like snacks after eight in the evening. Really, it would make more sense if the food that is best for us humans would taste freaking awesome.
Anyway, I did eat only (cough cough) four of them. Still not feeling like going to bed, so I wonder what there is left to snack some more...
Have a great one!
