Welcome to the Art & 3D series where I share a cool artwork that I print and talk about every Monday.
This one is a fairly special edition to the series because in this one I share some art I made, and it's also functions as a planter.

The Art

I love the female form and this piece started out as a model someone else made picture above.
I made it a bit thicker(wider) and then used a modeling program called mesh mixer to reduce the polygons to give it a more geometric shape after that I cut part of it off hollowed it out and added some drainage holes at the bottom.
The Print
I printed this piece out of blue silk PLA, I think it came out fairly good and it was a fairly easy print no failures and I did not use supports, I could print another that would be much bigger with another one of my 3d printers however I have not been heavy on the plants for a while so it would not be very useful and would end up taking up a lot more space and use up a lot more material.
I shared the model so anyone that has the desire and the capacity can get one made for themselves
