What's good everybody it's your boy, Charlie !

This is the second chapter to our journal as a Pokemon trainer playing Pokemon Let's Go Eevee. Thank you all so much for the support on the first chapter, your continued support will inspire me to continue creating and showing the power of Hive. To make Pokemon battle tournaments return on the platform I plan on connecting with more Pokemon players. Chapter 2 - Pidgey, Rattata, and Bellsprout

Beginning our next chapter we take our partner Pokemon from Professor Oak's Lab. Pokemon Let's Go Eevee allows players to start off with a specially trained Eevee. The goal of this chapter will be to capture all Pokemon available in Route 1. The professor informs you that many people use Pokemon for different reasons so he decides to give you a Pokedex. This Pokedex allows trainers to review data on their Pokemon.

Receiving a Pokedex from Oak

When we receive our Pokedex from Oak we are taking on an important role for the Lab. We are traveling around the region to capture all Pokemon that can be recorded in this game. Now this will involve us having to connect with other players in the game to bring certain Pokemon into it(Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu Exclusives and Pokemon only available in Pokemon GO). The PokeDex gives the trainers that hold the devices information on the available Pokemon in this region. We will also be completing the Shiny Entries for this game so it will take us awhile to get these captures.

Our mom was able to meet us at the Professor's lab and we received our stock of Pokeballs for the region. Now we are to head out of Pallet Town into Route 1 for the first time. Route 1 has a lot of basic first time experience Pokemon for the players to encounter which will make capturing them very easy.

Route 1 - Capturing a Pidgey!

We encounter a Pidgey as our first Pokemon \ we are able to catch it very easily. We are able to record it into our Pokedex and learn more about the Pokemon's stats and lifestyle. Pidgey is Tiny Bird Pokemon and has the Normal/Flying types. Let's see how many Pidgey I am going to have to catch in order to get a shiny at the end of the blog. Now let's see if we can find any other wild Pokemon from the list up above.

Route 1 - Catching a Rattata !

Now that we captured the "Basic Bird" of the region now we have to catch what's known as the "Regional Rodent". Rattata is the first regular Normal type Pokemon every one encounters on their adventure. It's even been seen in other regions with new regional variants "see Alolan Rattata". Catching one of these guys should be easy enough as they are all over the place.

Route 1 - Capturing a Bellsprout!

Bellsprout immediately appeared afterwords and was ready to be captured. I was able to get a nice picture of the Bellsprout with a silly enough face on it and look. It reminded me of the anime where Ash battled a Bellsprout that was pretty strong with his Poison Type Muk.

Viridian City - Someone called you to the Pokemart!

We captured one of every Pokemon in the route so far available to us. Along the way we meet a trainer who informs us about the ledges around the area. He tells you you are able to jump over the ledges but cannot bounce back over the ledges where you came from. Just a silly reminder for people who many have never played a Pokemon game before. Trainers can go down a ledge, but unfortunately cannot go back up. Always been a strange mechanic for players but has stayed in the game since the 1990's.

Based on the "Available Pokemon in" data shown above we are going to have to try and find the Oddish in a different area later on. Luckily I believe that Pokemon is available in a different city. We move along to a Pokemon Center to heal up any damage our partner had from fighting. We also pick up some more equipment from the store before heading back to Route 1.

You receive a package from the PokeMart worker that has to be given to the Professor. In past games they would have made you go all the around but as I mentioned above we could just fastly go through by jumping over the edges. They have made it even easier for new players by just fast traveling over to the Pokemon Professor's lab. We are absolutely spoiled in this game let me tell you.

You fast travel back to the Professor's lab and he asks you how is your relationship with Dirt the Eevee forming. You show that you and eevee have a really good relationship so far and that you have a package for the Professor. He is suprised and asks you to give him the package.

You give the professor his parcel and your rival appears from the back of the room to tell the Professor something about his Pikachu. He stops when he notices that your eevee has jumped on top of your head and rides you as it does. The Professor informs your rival and you that you can use Razz Berry's to make it easier to capture Pokemon on your adventures.

Rival Battle against Ego - First Match

Our rival suddenly stops us just before we leave. He wants to give us our first Pokemon battle using his Pikachu against our Partner Pokemon Dirt. This is also the first time the game uses the older mechanic of turn based battling.

Our Eevee got a great first attack learnset and uses Quick Attack repeatedly on the enemy Pikachu. The enemy Pikachu used a Thunder Shock on me which barely did anything but did show a pretty cool graphic when it landed. Our partner Dirt beat the Pikachu and Ego lost our first rival matchup.

This is where we are going to end our second Chapter today. We managed to catch all of the Pokemon in Route 1 that are currently available. We also collected a parcel for Professor Oak and brought it back to his lab. After receiving a Razz Berry and the Pokdex from the Professor we defeated our rival Ego in a Pokemon Battle.
