Last time found a few companions and gathered them in our band. After that we protected some scouts from goblins attack. Then we saved a little girl from being fed to the snake by druid leader. Druid leader then told us that refugees are no longer welcome in the grove. After that we asked a healer to cure our condition and remove parasites. She was not able to help us but suggested to look for a missing druid- he may be able to help us.
This time we spoked with our companions at the party camp. Lae'zel agreed with our opinion about Wyll- His skills could be useful. His honor not so much. Wyll then told as bit more about his target, a devil named Karlach.
After that we had a minor conflict with Lae'zel. She thought that she is the leader and we are her subordinate. How foolish is that idea? After all our character Griffith is destined to rule all. Those who will not bend the knee will be destroyed. So if Lae'zel will continue acting in such a way and try to challenge us we will teach her a sharp lesson... Then we spoke with Zevlor(the refugees leader and he asked us to kill the leader of druids. We did this but during our fight with head druid Zevlor left without any explanation). But we slew all druids we found anyway.
After that Astarion admitted that we are strong. Then we beat some looters in the ruins.
After that we found a few people. They believed in the same goddess called Absolute that goblins worshiped as well. At first they seemed polite but soon they attacked us because we survived mind flayers ship crash?
After that we found a beautiful puppy who was called Scratch and who was grieving the death of his master. We let him sniff us so he could find us at our party camp. We also went to a cave and saw a weird creature- owlbear. It was protecting its cub so we let them be.
We then went to a broken bridge. There we met a strange man. Raphael. He then teleported Griffith to some fancy place( called house of Hope) and offered to cure us of a parasite...At the cost of our soul and servitude to him. Raphael also revealed himself as the devil and claimed that we will take his deal sooner or later. This time I have a hard time roleplaying Griffith. He is definitely the type of person who would see no problems dealing with demons/ devils if that would mean getting what Griffith wants. On the other hand this deal would indicate that we would acknowledged Raphael as our superior and that is not something Griffith would do. Griffith wants to rule others and have his own kingdom. Not serve somebody else. No matter if they are a man, devil or a god. The whole point of Griffith's character is that he seeks to fly higher and higher until he reigns over the whole world. He would have no problem sacrificing one or few pawns/friends to achieve this goal. But if he would deal with Raphael that would most likely mean sacrificing everything...including himself and his endless ambition. So we said no to the devil's offer. At least for now. But it is worth remembering that Raphael insists that he can cure us...Perhaps at some point in the future Griffith will gain enough power to make a deal with devil on his own terms. Or maybe one day Griffith will force the devil Raphael to cure Griffith without giving him anything in return...
