Fogville is a dangerous place
A rested and eager Octharg, hoping to finish some quests before heading back to Ark is finding himself at the Ruined Homestead which has a buried cellar, leading to the wanted Redrick Borecut and part of a wanted quest to be completed.
"You are far too inferior for me and my time. Now die, so I can head over to Fogville for a real challenge" Octharg said as he engaged a fight with Redrick Borecut.
"I better test this teleport scroll out and get to Fogville now I am done here" he thought to himself while moving outside of the cellar.
Octharg pulled out a teleport to Fogville scroll to make traveling a lot easier, case the spell and watched as the landscape faded, with the new landscape being that of Fogville and it was onto the next quest of delivering some goods to a house by the water.
What enemies were waiting amongst Fogvilles buildings, different areas, town and all around. That was something he had to prepare for, the possibility of fights that might see deaths come upon him.
"Oh crap there are Arps here. Numerous at once can cause me a problem so I will need to keep moving about and get quick damage done" said Octharg while casting to bring out the Ice Elemental to absorb some damage before he cast some ice spells on the Arps.
They were made light work of due to being prepared and allowed moving along the path, heading toward the water and looking for his quest location.
Upon climbing along the side of a mountain to take a shortcut in order to reach it faster, Octharg finally saw where he needed to be and it was a great sight from up high!
He rubbed his chin and took a moment to assess the situration. "But of course there would be more Arp down there but it looks like I could make it inside if I carefully sneak about and deliver the goods. Might have to help out though to allow the contact to get out of there when needed."
A decision had been made. Go down and deal with anything like a group of Arps or any other enemies waiting.
Once down from the mountainside and near the Fogville Harbors house, an ambush caught him by surprise. Two Arp attacked and did a lot of damage in a short time, which meant Octharg now backed up while draining their life and ensuring he would keep living but require less potions.
One after one the Arps started dropping like flies and giving valuable experience toward the next level until they were all either drained of their life, or shot with arrows imbued with frost damage and he was able to loot up their bodies.
"Well that was a close one. Now to quickly drop these goods off, say it's save to leave and be on my way to get out of this Harbor" he said as he walked inside the building and talked to his contact in this part of Enderal.
After taking a short breath to casually walk up the path and enjoy the scenery, what was noticed just up a short way was a small camp. Upon reaching it, he launched an attack at the Wild Mages minding their own business, he was not messing around and didn't have the time to just fight everything and everyone fairly since they can do the damage and cause an easy death.
The first one dropped easily but the second got a barrier to absorb some of the magic, but was unable to keep it up for too long and eventually got blasted away as well.
Before getting back to Fogville town hall there were other enemies to finish off along the way. Some final ones were Awoken Lost Ones and ended up giving the experience to hit Level 20 and increase his health.
This was necessary as Octharg the Destroyer headed to the even tougher enemies and areas, requiring the strength to pass quests and everything in his way. With that, he teleported to the next location.
It was time to get Tarhutie's Elixir back for her from this mine he was entering. The majority was easy enough with Fleshless Lost Ones being the only enemy in here. But the tough part was the Aura Thief that appeared when trying to pick up the elixir. It was strong and resists ice, but fire sure burned it quite well and allowed Octharg to grab the elixir and be done with questing for the day.
"Finally I will be done for now. Just will need to find a tavern or place of rest somewhere nearby, get some supplies and sleep for the night so tomorrow can be another day."
This was part 19 in a series accompanying Octharg The Destroyer on his journey to regain his lost power and become the destroyer he once was.
Stay tuned for part 20 and see what befalls our villain.
