When life became so chaotic, I tended to eat a lot. Not just to eat a lot, but to eat delicious foods.
Why am I so agitated to eat a delicious meal these days? It is because I have been very busy.
These past few days, I have been very busy with our in-campus teaching internship. I've been juggling deadlines, running errands, and barely finding time to breathe, let alone enjoy a decent meal. So, when my boyfriend and I had free time, we took a quick break at Zhub Liloan.
Zhub Liloan is actually located along the national highway in Poblacion, Liloan, Cebu. This cafe is conveniently situated on the right side of the road (so easy to locate, right?) when heading towards Cebu City making it an easy stop for both locals and travellers alike.
What's even good is that the moment you stepped inside the cafe, there is an inviting aroma and an authentic yet aesthetic vibe that will surely enchant every customer. Personally, I had a hard time choosing what to order. It seems to me like that everything on their menu is delicious and worth to try. And so after a while, I ordered creamy carbonara and their famous buy one, take one large milk tea for only 199 pesos.
The milk tea was superb! (you must try it out!) It was perfectly sweetened and refreshingly cold. The combination was nothing short of satisfying, offering a momentary respite from the day's chaos.
Zhub's warm ambiance and the crew's good service made the experience even more enjoyable. I can say that if you need a quick meal, a place to unwind, or just a place to study, this cafe provides a perfect blend of comfort and convenience.
At the end, I realized that it the simple pleasures that rejuvenate the spirit amidst a hectic schedule.
