One morning with a splendid sun, a scientist goes out for a morning tour observing the behavior of the sun's rays on the foliage of plants. He walks quickly and approaches my garden, while I see how he observes each of my plants, I get closer and begin a long conversation with him regarding the influence of the movement of the stars on the cultivation of certain species.
The conversation became interesting when I saw my uncle the poet arrive. When he saw the scientist he felt great emotion since more than 25 years had passed since the last time they met.
They were both in the perfect place for a pleasant conversation, meanwhile I brought coffee for the three of us and the most entertaining conversation I had ever had began. I asked both of them for recommendations on what I should put in my garden to make it a more entertaining place.
The scientist without hesitation recommended that he make a solar clock to see how the sunlight shades certain parts of the garden at certain times of the day. Meanwhile the poet began to recite beautiful stanzas inspired by the butterflies that fluttered around the garden:
Butterfly, butterfly that flies from pink to pink
You carry the sweet nectar of the most vigorous flower
You are in charge of copious pollination
You bring out beautiful tones to the dahlias and pringamozas
and when the rains come the most outrageous
Quickly you go and hide, there is nothing to bother you.
Having a poet and a scientist in my garden has been one of the most wonderful things, laughing with that pair will always be a reason to want to repeat that encounter more frequently. The poet's recommendation was simpler than that of the scientist, he told me to build a birdbath so that they could flutter at all hours and thus enjoy their pleasant trills.
I liked both suggestions, I think I have these tasks pending to make my garden a much more charming place.
This is my entry in this week's creativegarden challenge. Hugs 🤗
