Here's Fridha having a wee nosy about what this is: her kittens were very nervous about it! 🎃
I've been waiting a while before cutting it - don't want to take it too immature, but also wanted to get good seeds from at least one of the three lunga di napoli that are growing at this fairly late stage and relatively high altitude. 💖🥰
Someone said to me recently that the Universe will give us abundance, and wait to see what we do with it, before giving us even more 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I have lots of plans for all my zucche! 🥒🥒🥒🥒🥒🥒🥒🥒🥒🥒🥒🥒🥒🥒🥒🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
She is very heavy, and such a beauty! I wanted to do a photoshoot posing with her, but we were busy moving furniture and making coffee for workers. 🌞 It is a special moment, picking a big vegetable like this, having lovingly cared for it from seed, and patiently/ impatiently watched its progress for months 😍
And this below is the smallest one; growing quite rapidly though! It's still quite thin skinned. I can see the growth happening, every couple of days.
I moved it out of the thick grass and onto the step, to stop it from getting too much humidity around it. It seems happy!
Here are a couple more snaps of the garden from even higher than the last ones I shared: the million dollar view from the top of the house, 5th floor.
Wishing you huge vegetables!!
Love!
Clare.
