Scattered planting and cooking garden produce

I have spent a lot of time picking eggplant in the garden, the second stage we picked and the yield was satisfying to us, about 500 kg have been picked, the first stage we have managed to pick 800 kg eggplant a few days ago, we picked the second stage for market demand that many enthusiasts of eggplant. It rained continuously this week, some of the eggplant rotted due to prolonged rains, weeds started to grow more abundantly, and we were unable to control the growth of these weeds during the rainy season.

My sister also picked eggplant, the garden yard is getting covered with weeds, the rain makes the weeds spread faster and grow as if they are getting special care, I think I will let these weeds grow for a while, we will plant again in early summer , today I will pick all the eggplants and not let the eggplant rot due to prolonged rain.

Unfortunately we met the harvest at the beginning of the rainy season so the yield was a bit down. I don't think it's a thing that makes us give up gardening, so much can be found after the harvest that brought us together at the end of September even though it was against the rainy season, we really enjoyed our garden trip during planting and picking, it was quite fun how it felt reap the fruits of the plantings we find.

In the morning after breakfast, we started picking eggplant, for two hours the weather was getting cloudy and the rain was forecast to fall soon, we were able to collect 500 kg of eggplant at the same time, my sister and mother were too excited to pick eggplant even though it was raining, it seems they really enjoyed the garden produce myself, I can also be grateful that I was able to find a maximum harvest even though it was a little slumped and rotted due to prolonged rains.

Gardening journey is not a difficult thing, planting is a rewarding experience, enjoy a good harvest and also get high marketing as a side income, I prefer to be a garden farmer, there is so much fun and busyness to work, I keep growing, there are many types of plants that are of concern to farmers.

The garden is overgrown with many coconut trees, coconut is also a seasonal tree for picking fruit squeezed for coconut milk, coconut beggars are also a daily necessity. Besides that, apart from planting eggplant, we also have coconuts for coconut milk, sometimes we pick them once a month. Well, my garden is planted with hundreds of eggplants and there are coconuts all around.

In addition we also have eggplant which is one month old, we plant eggplant gradually, mother and sister are the most instrumental people they help a lot in the garden, planting and watering the work they may go through throughout the day, caring is very important to achieve quality growth handling of young eggplant.

Cooking eggplant

Our family dinner dish with eggplant sambal terasi was quite delicious, my mother was the one who best understood how to cook the family's favorite food, and vice versa. Cooking aubergines from the garden satisfied us, picking and planting was worth what we enjoyed during our weeks of working in the garden.

After cutting the eggplant to taste, washing with clean water, mother continued frying in oil and preparing spices and all cooking needs, the aroma was strong enough to make our dinner taste very special, we made this agreement before picking and mother totally agreed with my opinion at that time .

Planting is a fun that cannot be bought at any price, work also has the opportunity to live a healthy life. In addition to our daily life, sometimes we are always together with family, we are always together when we work in the garden, laughter has become our daily food in this greatness.

From day to day we always pass together in the garden, there are so many successes found during gardening I think summer will come for next month so there is a possibility to increase the garden area bigger than before. 🙂
