Last Week's Entries
A few poems for last week's entries! Great to see poetry in the garden. Did you know you can write poetry any time for the creative garden challenge?
In this post, thought about how a scientist might say a bird bath is necessary for survival, but a poet will write about it!
Butterfly, butterfly that flies from pink to pink
You carry the sweet nectar of the most vigorous flower
You are in charge of copious pollination
You bring out beautiful tones to the dahlias and pringamozas
and when the rains come the most outrageous
Quickly you go and hide, there is nothing to bother you.
And wrote about how inspiring the magic of a garden can be:
Wrap me up in your greenery, let me inhale the sweet scent that you hold.
To start my day with a heavy heart, being in your presence, reminds me to let go.
My bare feet on the soil, my arms raised towards the sun,
I open up all of my senses,
My daily healing has begun.
Slow down,
Drink it all up,
Allow yourself to get drunk,
As you fall upon the earth.
wrote a poem too, and
in this post wrote a lovely parable. It's so lovely to see creative writing and poetry in the community, so keep them coming, folks!
