To start this one let me just tell you that goodevening to you and goodmorning to the other side. How are you again my fellow hivers and at the same time gardeners? I hope you're doing fine and today let me tell you again about the happenings in my garden.
In order for you to harvest your own fruits and vegetables, you need to prepare the land first, remove the weeds and cultivate it. You need to exert a lot of effort and spend a lot of time to do it. You will feel tired and all along the process. But the good thing is when your plant has successfully grown and entered the flowering stage, in the end of the process you will harvest your own grown crops.
All the tiredness will be replace by happiness and the feeling of gratefulness. That is the feeling I'm having right now as I watched them to have flowers and their first fruits.
Speaking of fruits, I told here before that my tomatoes are flowering already and today I'm happy to tell that those flowers back then successfully became small tomatoes. You can refer to the photo below. I'm really thankful because all of them made it to become new tomatoes. These 3 are the first fruits of my plant and I hope that they will not face any problem as they mature.
My other tomatoes are starting to develop it's fruit also after their flowers bloomed. Without me expecting, I didn't realized that those small tomatoes are maturing fast. If this continues, for sure before this month ends I will harvest ripe tomatoes already. I will be very happy if it will happen hihi.
Speaking of flowering stage, my string beans are currently in that stage and maybe next week I can already see small string beans. It's just 4 days since I last visited them but look at them, they are really striving to grow and develop their flowers.
As they continue to climb in their poles, their flowers are starting to develop. I'm very happy until now as I write about it.
Then that happiness of mine was replaced by worry because as I explore the other flowers of my string beans, I discovered that the aphids are now attacking it. They are not in the stems anymore and they are focusing now in the flowers. With that case I need to do something and tomorrow I'll do it. I will spray some home made pesticide again to get rid of them.
So much joy is overflowing from me as I took photos of it awhile ago despite the problem I discovered. Well that's only normal if you're into gardening. But one thing is certain, that if there's a problem then it has a solution also. Don't you ever forget that. It not only applies in our garden but in our life also.
Ofcourse the creatures that I encountered will not be excluded in this blog. Today I encountered a bug as usual in my string beans.
Also with the grasshopper and the spider that made a web in between of the poles so it's a perfect set up to catch some prey.
Speaking of creatures, this itchy insect is always present on the list. Their kinds is starting to eat the outer part of the flowers as you can see in the photo. What a problem it is. Need to do something about it also.
Since summer is already near, the native mangoes here or the indian mangoes are in flowering stage but last month it's raining nonstop so it got damaged and didn't continue to become a fruit. But just this day I discovered that our mangoes beside my string beans are in flowering stage again the same with the mangoes near our house. I just hope that it will not rain that hard this month and next month for it to develop successfully.
I'm looking forward to it since the past years we have mangoes due to heavy rainfalls. How about the mangoes in your areas friends?
That's it for today and I thank you once again for ready my garden things.
