Goodevening to all hivers and gardeners out there. I hope you're doing good.
It's been raining here since morning and I used this opportunity to transplant my tomato seedlings. They are in right condition now to be transplanted to new container for better growth. I've thought of doing this already since the tomatoes that I planted last time is on flowering stage. In just a short time for sure they will bear fruits so I need to prepare my seedlings to be planted again.
These are the seedlings that I'm talking about and before I do the transplanting, I watered them. I did that to lossen up the soil and to avoid too much stress on their roots.
Then I prepared the container to be use and this time I recycled the container that we used before in construction. Still it's in a good state so used it.
I filled it with organic soil as always and this were the ones that we gathered last time. I'm just lucky enough that I have this kind of soil to use. In this way my plants can grown better even if I don't use fertilizers. Let's use organic things my fellow gardeners so that we can save money and also to assure their safety.
After filled the right soil in the container, I flatened it and used my finger to make a hole for the seedlings. I did that while maintaing their distance for better growth also.
After that I uprooted the seedlings and put them one by one in the holes. I did the process twice since I don't want the seedlings waiting to be taken care of.
i finished doing it and in the end I have this outcome. It's not that organize in the photo due to the leaves but it is in reality. Once they grew some permanent leaves, I'm sure they will look organize in photo.
My chili.. as you can see it's already ripe and later on it will serve as my seeds to be sown again for another batch of chillies to be planted. I wish I have a vast space where I can make plots and where I can plant them.
I talked about my mulberry plant last week and said it has a lot of ripe fruits already so I harvest some. With just that amount I was very happy already.
This day, it was an awesome experienced once again since I harvested a lot of it.
To show it here's my harvest.
As you can see this stainless bowl was already full of it and this amount is good for 3 people.
There's a lot more to harvest that's been hiding so I get them also. As you can see I need to stand on that chair to get them.
Picking them up was really a great experienced and it's because there's no end to the ripe mulberries. A lot are residing at the top but I can't get them so those are my treat for the birds hihi.
I'm really grateful that I got to own a cutting of this mulberry before and it thanks to my classmate. I'm planning to sell some cuttings here in our place since I can't see this plant in our barangay. I hope that it will go well.
Maybe I can sell the cuttings for low price since I got it for free anyway. Well it's just a plan so I have more days to think about it..
Well friends, I'm ending this blog again saying that..
-Plant, plant and you'll survive.
