Knowing how to persuade your customers is a skill on its own or should I say a talent coz it's not there for me馃槱馃槄.
I'm not a pro at this, but whenever a customer chats me up, I always want to make them feel comfortable and not just head straight to the point. While they want to negotiate the price with me, I try my best to make them laugh and comfortable (not just crack a joke, I keep it professionally). Another thing I try to do is always add a freebie for them and I'll let them know I did that.
Then the last but not the least, I always try to check in after I've made the delivery and just ask about what they think about the delivery. Just random followups about the product is enough.
And last but not the least is to always make your products the best quality you can. That's enough reason for them to come back. If you're good, you're good. People who know your worth will patronize you.
