Hello, beautiful people. This story and photos are from 2 years ago when I didn’t know about Hive. Allow me to share this moment with all of you; Sunday was a special day. It was one of those rare times when the whole family could get together, after church we decided to have Spanish food and make it even more memorable since my Mother was here. We had just finished attending church together, and with my mother visiting from overseas, We wanted to treat her to something she’d enjoy and never experienced yet. So, we decided to head to The Mercat Barcelona, a Spanish restaurant in Malaysia, for a taste of Spain, this kind of restaurant my mom never experienced in her life because she is a village person. But I could see that she also enjoyed the experience and that good to feel on my side.

Our day started with a peaceful church service. My mother didn’t understand the mass because it was English but she just went with the flow, and I was eager to make the most of our time together. When the mass was over we straight headed to the car and went for our lunch destination. My mother was a bit scared of trying new food because mostly is new style for her, but I let her try and encourage her, I was excited to introduce her to some classic Spanish dishes. The Mercat Barcelona is known for its tapas, which are small, flavorful dishes perfect for sharing. We decided to order a variety, so we could try as much as possible. All my husband chose because even, though I know them by the picture, not the name I know a few of the menus like churros hahaha……
We ordered almost all on the menu because the serving is for sharing and all is for one mount only we got but in the end, we also ordered pizza and Spanish fried rice, and the drinks were so perfect I ordered a fruity wine for starting, and my husband makes me try some shots and margarita, even the coffee irish also nice since I already had alcohol for dessert a pair with Irish coffee lucky they have it also on this restaurant. Anyway, the kids enjoy the food and my mother also. It felt just right. By the end of the meal, my daughters couldn’t resist ordering Churros con Chocolate, a classic Spanish and perfect finish to our lunch. It was simple but so satisfying. As we finished our lunch and had time to go home the two small kids were starting to be cranky they needed the afternoon nap, and on the way home we all felt happy and full, not just from the food, but from the time we spent together.
My mom looked so contented, and we all shared a sense of gratitude for these precious moments. I couldn’t help but think about how important these moments are for us, quiet moments after church, the laughter shared over a meal, and the simple joy of being with family. It was a perfect day, and I know that The Mercat Barcelona will always be special to us for being part of such a wonderful family gathering. Anyway, this memory I’m sharing is so special my mom went home last year in April she will be one year already not with us but the memory we spent while she was here is an unforgettable moment that we can keep. Now the Mercat Barcelona Restaurant is just opposite our shop but we can't simply go and have our lunch as a family because now is out of budget already, unlike before we can't afford one meal for a family worth 333hbd, now we have to tighten the built. Just sharing whatever we have now just enjoy with our loved ones not the time we will have a chance to celebrate the time with our loved ones always choose to be happy in every simple way with our family.
