After many attempt with fail, I have finally decided to cut the photos down to 9 and see how this pan out. This was a follow up post after Seremban trip, as on the way back to Kuala Lumpur will have to pass Negeri Sembilan
It is very famous with its roast crab. Ask any Chinese people what is significant in Seremban, they will tell you two things. One being roast buns, another being roast crab.
I'm not just saying, this place is super busy with not only the locals, it had to accommodate tourists from all around the country.
Had I not read the introduction of the restaurant, I wouldn't even believe it's origin of this secret recipe are actually up north, from my home town. It said, the chef actually brought the recipe from Ipoh in 1983, to Seremban and started business here.
The history proceed to highlight how the restaurant gain famous, originally it was named as Seremban Restaurant, and due to people only can remember it's significant dish as Seremban Roast Crab, they decided might as well change the restaurant name.
Be extremely careful for what you order as these crabs are sold based on their weight. And one must understand the crab shell actually weight a ton. So don't go all out and over order or you're gonna feel the pinch when paying the bill
Instead of roast, the crab were actually baked. We all know the meat is inside the shell, don't try to be hero and use your teeth, or you're going to crack first before the crab does. Use a nut cracker, restaurant provided
Seremban town is not the nearest to the coast, but it's only less than 50km from Port Dickson. Access to fresh seafood is not a problem.
Other than that, be sure to bring enough friends to share the dishes, otherwise if you're here alone, you're probably going to suffer eating 1 crab, and only one taste you're going to experience.
Hopefully cutting down total upload photos may help posting this to #liketu. Please read the caption from each photos for explanation
