Hi hi.. I am Hive account@luueetang. I hope that your doing well and happy. It is going to be July pretty soon. Time flies. Greetings from Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. One of the best things to do here in Miri is to eat. There are lots of restaurants and food to try out. It is also affordable.

I ate them while they were hot. The proportion of the custard egg filling was just right. If the filling was a lot more than this, it would have tasted a bit different.

WANG ZAI DIM SUM

We were there early. After a while, lots of people came and slowly occupied a lot of the seats.

Full house with everyone busy eating. Pre pandemic times. No one really thinks of Covid at all anymore here in Miri. In about a month, Brunei borders are opening. Brunei is Miri's neighbour.

Then, I can bring my wife there and we will be visiting lots of different places to eat. The difference is that, most of the food in Miri is made by locals while over in Brunei are from foreign workers namely Malaysians, Filipinos, Indians and Indonesians. My wife can finally meet her mom again after two and the half years.

The best thing here is that all the different type of delights have simple names that are easy to order.

COFFEE MILK

The best thing to have is a cup of coffee with Dim Sum. Caffeine plus delicious overload.

Some Dim Sum

The Dim Sum here looks good. These are handmade. So it all depends on the person who made them. Both of them have similar texture except that the one on top has got some fish eggs.

These are super chewy.

It doesn't break apart as I bite into one. Chewy.

Chee Cheong Fun

Rice flour batter steamed into sheets. Inside fried bean curds. Try it if you ever visit Miri. It is simply irresistible. It tastes so confusing that you'll want another plate and go to bed thinking of one.

Yam

Fried crispy yam. This is one of the best tasting Dim Sum. Must try. If you love Yam. Usually, inside is meat.
