The statue of Buddha that towers a couple of storeys high. To get here, you'll need to drive roughly around 15 minutes from the city of Hatyai. This is one of the most popular tourist destinations here in Hatyai. Every minute here was worth the drive up along narrow winding roads.

The sitting buddha

The first buddha I saw as I drove my car to the car park here is this sitting buddha.

After walking a bit, I saw the standing buddha standing tall

This buddha can be seen from far.

The next thought I had while I was here was how this place could have been built. Golden colour and built on an elevation of approximately 428 metres up here on the hills of Hatyai overlooking the city.

Lots of greenery. It was pretty hot. Verdant. Do remember to bring an umbrella if you do visit Hatyai. It is highly recommended.
