This cake is called DADAR GULUNG and CAKE NAGASARI.
There is a neighbor of my house who often sells this market snack, coincidentally today he made it so I ordered some to be enjoyed with my family at home.
Dadar Gulung is made from wheat flour and grated coconut. For the skin Dadar Gulung itself, it is usually made with flour dough, similar to risol skin, but this one is colored green.
For the filling, use grated coconut cooked with brown sugar.
I think this cake is named DADAR GULUNG because of the way it is processed by rolling it and filling it.
This snack is very cheap and delicious, only Rp. 5,000.00 rupiah I have got 4 pcs of Dadar Gulung.
Nagasari cake, its uniqueness is that it is wrapped in banana leaves and cooked by steaming. For the dough, use flour that is given coconut milk and sugar, wrapped in leaves and stuffed with ripe bananas. It tastes very good, sweet and chewy.
For Nagasari Cake I bought it at a price of Rp. 1.500.00 rupiah for 1 pcs Nagasari.
For Nagasari cake, I am not very clear why it can be given such a name. All I know is this cake is very delicious...hah..haaa
My family and I are people who like to eat snacks, this dish is perfect for you to enjoy with coffee or tea. Especially if the weather is rainy it will be very delicious.
