One of the most unforgettable and evermissed ice cream that I enjoyed during my vacation, when we visited the old Park of Panabo. It was the place I cherished for the first time I came Panabo, looking back the year 1987.
2022 was something different, I came with my grandchildren after three decades.I and my son had no bonding in this place because during his children we were living in another province inside Davao too.
The old Panabo Municipality Hall before it became one of the cities of Mindanao Island, Philippines.
We roamed around and it has a very big differences. Children have a lot of stuff and amusements. There were groups of people who were performimg Zumba.That afternoon was great for us since my grandchildren were too busy going every places they wanted.
They requested balloons but I refused. It just wasting money when exploded.I won't tolerate doing like that.
Local Ice Cream Time
The afternoon was fading, the night almost cover the day. So we decided going home before sunset and we passed the ice cream man,playing the stuff like a ringing bells calling customers to buy his ice cream. That time I tolerated my grandchildren buying ice cream and chips.
I talked the man if I could take a picture and be posted here in hive. He asked what is hive? I told him that it is a platform that helped me to earned and now I able to buy ice cream for my grandchildren. He laughed and laughed.
One cone only cost 10pesos and the taste was satisfying.
What is local ice cream?
It is a kind of Filipino dessert that being made from
a mixture of milk, cream, sugar, and sometimes it mixesc with other ingredients that has been frozen into a soft and creamy. You can add flavor according to your choice derives also from the colors. It is also considered as locally made desserts. I could be eaten after a certain meal most especially during lunch time.
Our happiness licking the ice cream in a cone, created one of the good memories that I had been through during my vacation. Now, I am here in Saudi Arabia once again and I missed my girls.
Anyway, I noticed that
