Hello everyone👧. My workload like a mountain 🗻 now as I had spent long period of holiday from 30 January 2022 to 15 February 2022. Currently, I unable to do daily posting or engagement until my work under control that I have extra free time to do it 😭.
In this post, I’m going to share how did I spent my holiday with lots of pictures. 🖼️😁.
29 January 2022 to 30 January 2022 - Chinese New Year's Night Market
At night time or after my office hour on 29.01.22, I, 
There were 5 or 6 night markets been organized in different places at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah but in the same period on 29.01.22 to 30.01.22. We went to 3 of it 😅 as per my Mom wishes.
Last year, no night market was organized due to the Covid19 pandemic. Therefore, my Mom very excited that walks very fast 🚶♀️💨 to the night market destination after we just park our car. I and
Food stalls available for people to buy food for takeaway.
Food stalls that served by Muslim hawkers also available for Muslim customers who went to the night market.
There were mascots to attract more customers to their stalls. The weather at that time very hot and I salute the people who wearing these mascots' costume 💪.
My Mom stop awhile and the street arts had caught her attention 👀 at one of the night market that we visit.
31 January 2022 - Chinese New Year's Eve
I busy with last spring cleaning on my house during the day time. Whereas at night time was family gathering time for eating dinner together during Chinese New Year's Eve.
My Mom had invited two of her younger sisters with their children or my cousins to celebrate together the event at our house.
Before dinner time, my cousin helps me to let Uku Chan, my dog to wears the Changshan outfit that I had bought online one month ago.
Beverage, snack and cookies ready to serve for the guests and ourselves 😝.
3 dishes were bought from restaurant and the remaining were cooked and prepared by my Mom and my sister. I only did he cleaning jobs and entertaining the guests 😎.

Whisky is the must to enjoy for any celebration for any family gathering 🥃💃.

Every year, my younger brother will be the one lighting up the fire cracker at midnight. This year
1 February 2022 - First Day of the Chinese New Year
I feel drunks as I drank many glasses of whisky during the Chinese New Year's Eve and midnight. Luckily I still able to woke up early and I did not miss out the lion dance that pass by my house.
I have to hold Uku Chan as the person who handling the lion dance scare of dog. Poor Uku Chan want to be friendly with them and only can watch at the lion dance performance in distance 😅.
We gave the lion dance team's Red Packet or Angpow and they gave us greeting card as return.
I haven't send any Chinese New Year's wishes to my friends and families by message. So, I use the lion dance picture that I took above and did some editing myself then send the picture with wishes as shown below to them.
At night, my Mom had invited one of her younger sister and children to have dinner together at first day of Chinese New Year. The foods were homecooked and not prepared by me 😶.
My younger brother said he will back on 02.02.22 from Pulau Pinang, Malaysia in the morning. However, he back in the midnight and did a surprise for us. Its been more than half year we did not meet him and my Mom gave him a big hug when he just arrived at the main door of my house. 🤗
At that time, I'm drinking whisky and a bit drunk that lazy to move from the sofa 🤓.
2 February 2022 - Celebrating Chinese New Year at my Mom's Family House
All of my Mom's sisters who originated Kadazan race were married into Chinese husbands. Every year, we will pick either first or second day of Chinese New Year to do open house together at family house.
Foods were prepared by pot luck from each family. During our gathering, the guys prefer drink beer while the ladies prefer drink whisky, Cheers 🍻🥃
4 February 2022 to 5 February 2022- Travel to Ranau, Sabah
Me, my younger sister, my younger brother and my Mom went to Ranau, Sabah by car for travel for 2 day and 1 night. 🚗
The details I will share it in different post but I only share you all one of the picture I took during my travel there.
8 February 2022- My Birthday
8th of February was my birthday and I celebrated with
Our family like to celebrate birthday together and we remember all birthday date on each of the member of the family.
The birthday cake was bought by my younger sister and brother. 🎂

9 February 2022- Booster Shot
There was side effect after getting this booster shot that I had fever for 3 days. My Mom and my younger sister got muscles pain and unable to walk properly. However,
Although I tested Covid19 negative from the result of self test kit, I quarantine myself for few days.
14 February 2022 - Valentine's Day

15 February 2022 - Chap Goh Mei/The end of Chinese New Year Celebration
During the 15 days of Chinese New Year, I received red packets but it lesser that last year as some of my close family members positive from Covid19 that I unable to visit their house. In addition of that, I'm not yet marry so I still able to received Red Packets or Angpows from married person. 🤭
If you all noticed that certain date I did not mentioned above. I spent most of my time on my hobby in watching anime and reading comic that I had love so much.
My younger brother had back to Pulau Pinang where he work at on 10.02.22. So, during this Chap Goh Mei celebration, without my younger brother, only my family and
I supposedly play this fire cracker with my cousins or in the early day of Chinese New Year period but I drunk and don't have the mood to play it. So, in the last day of the Chinese New Year celebration, I play it with my Mom and
There still left over of fire cracker and we left it for next year of Chinese New Year celebration to play it. After that watch television time with mandarin orange and fish satay as snack.
Uku Chan asked for fish satay from me with his smile 🐶.
