Just like a dreamβa complete nightmare. It's happening so fast. We were busy packing important belongings and went out of our house just to escape the fire in our area. People outside are all shouting, making us more shocked and nervous. We immediately packed and evacuated, trying to save ourselves. But with God's guidance, he provides everything. No matter what happens , he is in control.
The fire continued to grow and spread as minutes passed in the village. Live wires get worse and make us hopeless. But at that time, even if there was a big fire, we were still hopeful and praying that our house was safe since it was a bit far from the fire. Luckily, our house was safe from fire. We considered that a real miracle. God really hears our prayers. We are grateful but at the same time sad since the house in our neighborhood burned down. The important is we are all safe including the residents. After that incident, the BFP, or Bureau of Fire and Protection, determined the fire's cause was faulty electrical wiring. I just remember that after everything was settled, some of the houses in our neighborhood were burned. My heart crumpled while watching those, and I also remember the sad faces of the people in our area. I'm thinking of hugging them tight, one by one, but I know those worst nightmares will just pass. We offered to let a family that was close to my uncle to stay in the house temporarily. We donated some of our used clothes and kitchen utensils that they could use temporarily. The son of the family that we let stay in the house said that he was very sad, that their house was burned, and all his school supplies and toys were lost. It's a good thing that an unknown person dined on school supplies and bags in the morning.
After a couple of days, the local government donated both materials and cash, which helped build new houses. Big thanks to our supportive government and community and all the generous people who are always willing to help. This is the lesson learned as well: we need to live more carefully in our own homes to prevent that fire from happening again. So far, all of the residences have returned to normalcy. The wiring of the house that caused the fire is already new and well organized, and they also unplugged all the electrical appliances and lights like bulbs at night to prevent overloading. I can say that no matter how much heat we experience in our lives, we will always remember to remain brave and resilient, as well as always stay calm. We are truly grateful and blessed after all. Stay in hope and peace. Continue to do good, and for sure, it will come back to you in unexpected ways.
Thank you for reaching this part again. π A Blessed and Happy Easter To All! Enjoy the holidays and STAY SAFE.
