Hello handsome and beautiful hivers of we're in the middle of the week, that was a fast. And for my today's topic is some kind of a unique dish. Because even I couldn't believe that I can able to eat this kind of vegetable. Hubby called this Sekan or Marigoso before he had a job on Manila he is a farmer so whenever he sees this lost leaves he will get some and cooked it at home. And today im going to teach you how to cook this Sekan leaves.
Ingredients
One small can of sardines
3 cloves of garlic
1 medium onion
2 medium Tomatoes
1/2 cup of water
Seasoning
1 tablespoon fish sauce
Cooking oil
Sekan leaves, this also available in the market you can have according desire. But if you can find some its more better because you know it's fresh and it's also fun to gather on your own. The sekan leaves on the photo was from the market because our place turns out to be a water world.
Procedure
Wash the sekan leaves and tomatoes, heat the pan, pour some cooking oil saute the garlic untill golden brown. Add the onion and tomatoes, squash the tomatoes, pour the sardines and add the seasonning, fish sauce and water. Finally add the sekan, if it's your first time to cook mixed it only once because sekan is so bitter like ampalaya or bitter gourd. I thought I'd never learn to eat it because I was a bit annoyed with it's taste. But hubby thought me too because it was a healthy dish and it will make our body immunized in sickness. Even our kids loved to eat this Sekan. After five minutes of boiling you're now ready to serve
