Even though I gave my neighbors chayote, I still have a lot of chayote that I picked up yesterday. I read in a book that this chayote is botanically similar to cucumber and pumpkin. A friend of mine once told me that this fruit is called chayote or chocho. Most people eat this fruit fried with eggs. Or they may fry their favorite meat. I like fried eggs with this fruit. Today I am going to tell you how to make a salad that can be eaten by vegetarians with this fruit. Let me first talk about the ingredients.
Ingredients-

- tomato
- A little salt
- Peanuts
I use two chayote fruits. Rinse this two chayote thoroughly with water.
Slice the onion and tomato. First, fry the onion. Then fry the tomatoes.

Slice the two chayote fruits as shown in my picture. Or you can slice it with a knife.
Boil sliced chayote in a pot of boiling water. They do not need to be boiled for a long time. Boil for five minutes or seven minutes is enough.
After cooking for 5 minutes, the chayote can be removed from the boiling water. Put the boiled chayote, the peanuts, the fried tomatoes and onions in a bowl. And add a little salt. If you like spicy food, you can add chili.
Once all is mixed, you can get a delicious vegetarian chayote salad.
