Today on super Sunday, I also made one of Myanmar traditional food. The food I made today was a Myanmar dessert. This is a dessert combination of tapioca pearls and coconut milk. This dessert is my first dessert in October. This dessert is called Tapioca coconut milk pudding. The taste of tapioca coconut milk pudding is sweet. This is dessert easy to make. The ingredients needed to make this dessert are also easy to find. Let me tell you about the ingredients needed to make Myanmar tapioca coconut milk pudding.
Ingredients
- tapioca pearls
- tapioca pearls powder
- coconut milk
- a little salt and
- sugar
First, I heated the water in a pot. If you use a small amount of tapioca pearls, you should add a little water. I added a lot of water because I will use more tapioca pearls.
When the water boils, I add the tapioca pearls.
Then you need to stir them with a spoon. I use a wooden spoon used by Myanmar people to make desserts. This wooden spoon is called “Young Ma” in Myanmar.
Stir in the tapioca pearls until the whites disappear. If you do not stir until the white color disappears, you will have a hard time eating. Stir for 30 minutes or 45 minutes to remove these whites.
After stirring for about 45 minutes, I added sugar, tapioca pearls powder and a little salt. I also added coconut milk and milk.
After adding them, I stir again for 5 minutes.
I put a little butter in a bowl to put it.
I poured the stir tapioca pearls into a bowl putted with butter.
After cooling for 1 or 2 hours, you can cut it into small pieces and eat it. What I put on that dessert was fried coconut. It can also be eaten with unfried coconut. I prefer to eat with fried coconut.
