The journey on the block-boat was long. Longer than expected. Long enough and choppy enough on the water that White began to puke. And puke. And puke. Luckily for White there was easy access to a railing to puke over.
When they finally did come to a stop White was the first one off; she was more than happy to be off that boat. It was ironic, she thought in a puke-green haze, that she can fly or drive about anything, but a rough ride on the water will lay her right out.
The group - White, Pink, and Space Cadet - where directed to a farm off in the distance. The farm, they were told, contains "people like you."
It was a long walk. White didn't revel in the fact that they would need to take the boat back. Why, she thought to herself, didn't they just fly their shuttle over here in the first place? Ugh.
When the farm appeared on the horizon the team's spirits lifted and their pace quickened. There were, in fact, "people like them" on that farm! Pink saw them and hurried, then ran. It was mom! And dad!
Hugs were shared all around. There were tears. And more hugs.
"You found us!" Mom called in joy. "You actually found us!"
Mom and Dad invited the trio into their simple hut for a snack and to pack the few belongings they still had. White chose not to eat; it'd come right back up.
"So what happened?" Pink asked around mouthfuls of carrot.
"We'll tell you all about it," Dad promised, "On the way home."
"Let's go home."
