Fungi Culture
In Balkans, including Croatia, we still have many preserved forest areas & long tradition of mushroom hunting. Last few days I was intensively picking mostly porcini & chantarelles but I took my camera cause Nikon Z6 is very light & easy to carry but macro lens is not. Still I wanted to shoot the various fungi fruiting bodies in this perfect time for mushrooms, the autumn. I converted the photos into the black'n'white version cause I consider it amusing to experiment.
Coprinus Picaceus
This mushroom is so beautiful in both version, colored or b'n'w, & I was thinking about it in advance. There are so many details & contrast.

Amanita muscaria
Fly agaric is just a baby yet. I didn't encounter any older specimen but I still hope to see some, shoot & pick them till the end of season!

Stereum ostrea
Another beautiful mushroom, a decoration on the fallen rotting trees. Very colorful which gives a wide range of grey & make the b'n'w version spectacular too!

Trametes versicolor
Same with this one. A lot of detail, colors, contrast & textures!

Anyway, I believe that also in your area you have fungi species who can improve your life! Study & learn about them & how you can get benefit from these creatures!
