This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
I've already mentioned the Studio set-up for these Tankspace images HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE, so without further ado, lets crack on with the images from this set.
Lanina
Its been a long old slog trying to get all these images edited, more for the models sake than anything. I quickly picked out the 4 or 5 best shots, which I liked. And if it was a paid shoot I would have probably kept it at those and done with it.
This one above of Lanina is a perfect example showing an almost otherworldly elegance.
But as each model turned up and put effort into the shoot, its only right that they get something out of it as well, which has forced me to delve into the images to see what else I could find
Lucille
Lucille was great to work with... probably the most experienced model there, and it showed, no direction required, and just pulled perfect pose after perfect pose
Hayley
In contrast Hayley was not quite as confident, which wasn't a problem as the photographers helped direct her in to different poses.
In this rain set some clever person decided to bring a see-through plastic umbrella (not me, I'm not that smart), and that meant we got some different images. I think it works quite well with the 'rain set'.
Lucille
If Lucille looks at home here, then that was because she really was haha. She has modelled here a couple of times now and has a good idea of poses that work in this challenging setup
Believe me, holding your breath for a long time while looking into the light, keeping a natural expression AND hold an aesthetically pleasing pose is not easy!
She was also able to pass on the benefit of her experience to Lanina, and right at the end they both did a duo which worked really well.
Lucille and Lanina
I think I've got one more set of these images to post, although I think they will be in colour, and then it'll time to move on to something new. The group I am part of have already mentioned doing this type of shoot again in June, but I'm not sure if I will be doing it again (there is a lot of work involved, and I'm struggling for time as it is... so we'll see.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by... I welcome any comments or criticisms on these, looking back at these images now, I think I might have over done it and made them too dark... what do you think?
Thank you for reading, I hope you found it interesting.
