My First Use of Guild Power + My Card Collection Optimization
It's five days since I published a post on my Hive blog because I took two travels in 4 days and travelled more than 1400 km to spend time with some people very dear to me.
My last post was a post about Splinterlands and today I am resuming my publishing activity on Hive from where I left off by publishing a post about Splinterlands which is my favourite blockchain-based game.
During the month of June and the month of July I will try to be particularly active on Splinterlands both in terms of my gaming activity and my content publishing activity because the "Age Of The Phoenix" development phase is underway.
I consider the development phase "Age Of The Phoenix" very important for the future of Splinterlands because there will be a lot of interesting new developments that will change the current equilibrium both from the point of view of the game and from the point of view of the value of the assets (NFTs and tokens).
In my previous Splinterlands post I tried to identify some possible effects that the "Age Of The Phoenix" development phase might produce.

The start of phase 1.5 of the Lands is certainly the most long-awaited new feature for most Splinterlands players and investors.
From my personal point of view the Lands phase 1.5 will be very important, but much more important will be the introduction of anti-bots measures in Modern Format ranked battles** for the future of Splinterlands .
I have repeatedly expressed my opinions and thoughts on the decision to allow bots in the game of Splinterlands, and I don't want to be repetitive in this post as well, but I am very happy that there will be a change of course regarding the use of bots, and I consider this change of approach very very positive.
In today's post I continue to share some of my game choices and some of my investment choices starting with how I decided to use the Guild Power I got from participating in the Splinterlands 5 Year Anniversary event which is still ongoing and will end in 10 days and 2 hours.
On the first day of the Splinterlands 5 Year Anniversary event, I published a post in which I shared calculations and assumptions about the odds of receiving a prize from the event raffle.
The odds of receiving a prize with 10K points were low on the first day of the event and are lower today but I really like the structure of the event because every DEC token burned during the event is turned into 1 Guild Power.
I burned 50K DEC on the first day of the event and got 150K points = 15 chances to get a prize from the event Raffle.
The event is already a success because more than 520K DEC (369K DEC + 160K DEC-B) were burned when there are still 10 days left until the end of the event.
I participated in the event not for the prizes because I knew my chances of winning a prize would be very low but because I would receive 50K Guild Power with which I could contribute to the growth of my guild: the EDSF Guild.
Playing Brawls is one of the most fun gaming activities for me on Splinterlands because playing as a team is always more fun than playing alone, and today I used the 50K Guild Power to contribute to the building upgrade of my guild.
My guild has buildings at the following levels:
Hall: level 6
Lodge: level 6
Arena: level 3
Barracks: level 2
Store: level 4
Today I decided to help upgrade the Barracks from level 2 to level 3.
To upgrade to level 3 there was just under 11000 G.Power and I did this Power Up.
It will only be possible to make the upgrade effective after the end of the current Brawls and by paying 100 Crows.
With Barracks at level 3 it will be possible to choose a card that the enemy team cannot use in Home battles. This is a good game advantage to use in Brawls.
The remaining 39K Guild Power I used to upgrade the STORE to level 5.
Now there is 59K Guild Power left for the level 5 Store and when we reach this amount of Guild Power we will get a Merit Bonus of +80%.
I invite those of my guild mates who participated in the 5 Year Anniversary event and have Guild Power available to do what I did today, because contributing immediately to the upgrade of the guild buildings will allow us to have benefits already from the next Brawls ;)

I play Wild Format ranked battles but when the anti-bots measures are introduced I will immediately switch from Wild Format to Modern Format and only play Modern Format ranked battles!
In my previous post I shared my two main upgrade goals which are:
- Oshuur Constantia of level 3.
- Vruz of level 8
5 days ago I had placed purchase offers but they were not accepted and today I raised my purchase offers so that I had the best purchase offers on the market.
I consider Oshuur Constantia and Vruz to be very useful cards in battle and also very versatile because they play well in many rulesets and in combination with many of my cards.
I hope to add these two cards to my card collection soon.
Today I also continued to sell off cards from my collection that:
- I will not be able to use in Modern Format
- have a low PP score and it is not convenient to use them as worker cards in my 3 land plots that have the land type: Forest,Hills and Plains.
- they have little demand in the rental market
I have put more than 300 cards for sale including 169 cards = 332 BCX from the Beta edition and will use all the gains I can get to increase the battle strength of my card collection in Modern Format ranked battles.
Today I also continued to increase the level of my usable cards in Modern Format and focused on cards
- that have a relatively low cost per BCX
- that I often use in battle
As first upgrade target I chose Merdaali Guardian.
Merdaali Guardian is a card I use very often in battle especially in combination with cards that have the Taunt ability and 1+ armour points such as Agor Longtail and The Kraken.
In my collection I had 58 BCX of Merdaali Guardian and upgrading from level 5 to level 6 allowed me to add one more life point while spending only $0.446.
For the purchase I chose to use the https://monstermarket.io/ market.
I spent 529.37 DEC and received a chashback of 15.88 DEC.
As a second upgrade target I chose Disintegrator.
Disintegrator is a card that I don't use very often in battle but when battles have the UP CLOSE & PERSONAL ruleset and one of the MELEE MAYHEM, EQUAL OPPORTUNITY and SUPER SNEAK rulesets, Disintegrator becomes one of my first choices because it has the Demoralize ability that reduces the attack of all opposing cards by 1.
I had 154 BCX of Disintegrator in my collection and upgrading from level 7 to level 8 allowed me to add a third ability, Knock Out, to my Disintegrator which has now become a very useful card even in combination with cards that have the Stun ability.
To complete the upgrade I bought 66 BCX from https://monstermarket.io/, spent a total of $2,452 and received a cashback of 87.5 DEC.
As today's third and final upgrade target I chose Pecalor Arbalest.
In my collection I had 1 level 3 Pecalor Arbalest and other BCX for a total of 52 BCX.
To upgrade my Pecalor Arbalest from level 3 to level 6 I only had to buy 8 BCX and spend $0.804
I bought 8 BCX and now, with Pecalor Arbalest of level 6 I have a card with the Flying ability that will be particularly useful in battles with Rulesets Earthquake and Going To Distance.

Sono 5 giorni che non pubblico un post sul mio Hive blog perchè ho fatto due viaggi in 4 giorni e ho percorso più di 1400 Km per passare del tempo con alcune persone a me molto care.
Il mio ultimo post è stato un post su Splinterlands e oggi riprendo la mia attività di pubblicazione su Hive da dove l'ho interrotta pubblicando un post su Splinterlands che è il mio gioco basato su blockchain preferito.
Nel mese di giugno e nel mese di luglio cercherò di essere particolarmente attivo su Splinterlands sia per quanto riguarda la mia attività di gioco che per quanto riguarda la mia attività di pubblicazione di contenuti perchè è in corso la fase di sviluppo "Age Of The Phoenix".
Considero la fase di sviluppo "Age Of The Phoenix" molto importante per il futuro di Splinterlands perchè saranno introdotte tante interessanti novità che modificheranno gli equilibri attuali sia dal punto di vista del gioco che dal punto di vista del valore degli assets (NFTs e tokens).
Nel mio precedente Splinterlands post ho cercato di individuare dei possibili effetti che la fase di sviluppo "Age Of The Phoenix" potrebbe produrre.

L'inizio della fase 1.5 delle Lands è certamente la novità più attesa dalla maggior parte dei giocatori e degli investitori di Splinterlands.
Dal mio personale punto di vista la fase 1.5 delle Lands sarà molto importante ma sarà molto più importante l'introduzione delle misure anti-bots nelle ranked battles del Modern Format per il futuro di Splinterlands .
Ho più volte espresso le mie opinioni e le mie considerazioni sulla scelta di permettere l'utilizzo dei bots nel gioco di Splinterlands e non voglio essere ripetitivo anche in questo post ma sono d'avvero contento che ci sarà un cambio di rotta per quanto riguarda l'utilizzo dei bots e considero questo cambiamento di approccio molto molto positivo.
Nel post di oggi continuo a condividere alcune mie scelte di gioco e alcune mie scelte di investimento partendo dal modo in cui ho deciso di utilizzare il Guild Power cho ho ottenuto dalla partecipazione all'evento Splinterlands 5 Year Anniversary che è ancora in corso e che terminerà tra 10 giorni e 2 ore.
Il primo giorno dell'evento Splinterlands 5 Year Anniversary ho pubblicato un post in cui ho condiviso calcoli e ipotesi sulle probabilità di ricevere un premio dalla raffle dell'evento.
Le probabilità di ricevere un premio con 10K punti erano basse il primo giorno dell'evento e lo sono maggiormente oggi ma la struttura dell'evento mi piace molto perchè ogni token DEC bruciato durante l'evento viene trasformato in 1 Guild Power.
Io ho bruciato 50K DEC il primo giorno dell'evento e ho ricevuto 150K points = 15 chances di ricevere un premio dalla Raffle dell'evento.
L'evento è già un successo perchè sono stati bruciati più di 520K DEC (369K DEC + 160K DEC-B) quando mancano ancora 10 giorni alla fine dell'evento.
Io ho partecipato all'evento non per i premi perchè sapevo che le mie possibilità di vincere un premio sarebbero state davvero minime ma perchè avrei ricevuto 50K Guild Power con cui avrei potuto contribuire alla crescita della mia gilda: la EDSF Guild.
Giocare le Brawls è per me una delle attività di gioco più divertenti su Splinterlands perchè giocare in squadra è sempre più divertente che giocare da soli e oggi ho utilizzato i 50K Guild Power per contribuire all'upgrade delle Costruzioni della mia Gilda.
La mia gilda ha le costruzioni ai seguenti livelli:
Hall: level 6
Lodge: level 6
Arena: level 3
Barracks: level 2
Store: level 4
Oggi ho deciso di contribuire all'upgrade delle Barracks dal livello 2 al livello 3.
Per passare al livello 3 mancavano poco meno di 11000 G.Power e ho fatto questo Power Up.
Sarà possibile rendere effettivo l'upgrade solo dopo la fine della Brawls in corso e pagando 100 Crows.
Con le Barracks al livello 3 sarà possibile scegliere una carta che il team nemico non potrà usare nelle Home battles. Questo è un buon vantaggio di gioco da utilizzare nelle Brawls.
I rimanenti 39K Guild Power li ho utilizzati per l'upgrade dello STORE per fare un passo avanti verso il livello 5.
Adesso mancano 59K Guild Power per lo Store di livello 5 e quando raggiungeremo questo quantitativo di Guild Power otterremo un Merit Bonus del +80%.
Invito chi dei mie compagni di gilda ha partecipato all'evento 5 Year Anniversary e ha Guild Power disponibile a fare quello che ho fatto io oggi perchè contribuire subito all'upgrade degli edifici della Gilda ci permetterà di avere dei vantaggi già a partire dalle prossime Brawls ;)
Per questo motivo taggo tutti i componenti attivi della gilda perchè alcuni potrebbero non aver notato che il Guild Power è attivo e utilizzabile:

Io gioco nelle ranked battles del Wild Format ma quando le misure anti-bots saranno introdotte io passerò immediatamente dal Wild Format al Modern Format e giocherò solo le ranked battles del Modern Format!
Nel mio precedente post ho condiviso i miei due obiettivi di upgrade principali che sono:
- Oshuur Constantia di livello 3
- Vruz di livello 8
5 giorni fa avevo piazzato delle offerte di acquisto che però non sono state accettate e oggi ho alzato le mie offerte di acquisto in modo da avere le offerte di acquisto migliori sul mercato.
Considero Oshuur Constantia e Vruz delle carte molto utili in battaglia e anche molto versatili perchè giocano bene in molte rulesets e in combinazione con molte mie carte.
Spero di aggiungere presto queste due carte alla mia collezione di carte.
Oggi ho continuato anche a mettere in vendita le carte della mia collezione che:
- non potrò usare nel Modern Format
- hanno un punteggio PP basso e non è conveniente utilizzarle come worker cards nei miei 3 land plots che hanno la tipologia di terreno: Forest,Hills e Plains.
- hanno poca richiesta nel mercato del noleggio
Ho messo in vendita più di 300 carte di cui 169 carte = 332 BCX dell'edizione Beta e utilizzerò tutti i guadagni che riuscirò ad ottenere per aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte nelle ranked battles del Modern Format.
Oggi ho anche continuato ad aumentare il livello delle mie carte utilizzabili nel Modern Format e mi sono focalizzato sulle carte:
- che hanno un costo per BCX relativamente basso
- che uso spesso in battaglia
Come primo obiettivo di upgrade ho scelto Merdaali Guardian.
Merdaali Guardian è una carta che uso molto spesso in battaglia soprattutto in combinazione con carte che hanno l'abilità Taunt e 1+ punti armatura come ad esempio Agor Longtail e The Kraken.
Nella mia collezione avevo 58 BCX di Merdaali Guardian e fare l'upgrade dal livello 5 al livello 6 mi ha permesso di aggiungere un punto vita in più spendendo solo 0.446$.

Come secondo obiettivo di upgrade ho scelto Disintegrator.
