Today's weather was mostly cloudy, with a few showers occasional. In such a rainy weather, there is another fun place to go for an outing. For several days, the weather had been quite warm, but after rainfall, the severity of the cold increased and the weather became pleasant. This is outside my office in the cantonment district, which has many shops, hotels, and other plazas. When the sun goes down, all of the hotels and other shops light up, and crowds of people go shopping for various items. There is a play area for children in this area, and I have included some photos of it.
As you can see in the photos, clouds have blanketed the sky, heralding the arrival of rain. When the clouds are overcast, this place becomes very beautiful, and the good news is that the crowds here increase as well, as they enjoy the lovely and fresh air of the weather.
In front of my office is a large hotel called Smoke House, which serves a variety of foods. The name "smoke" is retained because all of the foods served here are prepared using firewood and coal rather than gas. The food at this hotel is very tasty and delicious, the good thing is that the foods are cooked on wood, which imparts a smoky flavour. In addition, they serve a variety of drinks to their customers.
Achakzai Shopping Centre is another large plaza that is open from early morning until late at night and has a variety of shops. People came from far away to shop here, but the prices are slightly higher than in other shopping malls. This could be because this is a cantonment area with higher demand than others. This area is well-known for its bakery equipment, which has an excellent taste and is always stocked with fresh goods. I bought some of the cookies last night, and they were really tasty and worth the price, which was a little high.
