Fish-eye Photography. Qurator´s Photo Quest
Fisheye photography is based on the use of a lens with an ultra-wide angle that produces a strong visual distortion with the intention of creating a wide panoramic or hemispherical image.
About a month ago, due to the limitation to take good wide angle photos on my iPhone SE I invested 20 euros in the purchase of a set of Selvin brand lenses through Amazon, which included besides the hook to attach the lenses to my phone, a wide angle lens, a macro lens, a kaleidoscopic lens and a fisheye lens.
Although it is one of the lenses I use the least, the day I received the lenses I took some fun pictures of my kitty Pelota. Pelota is a very nervous cat and I had a hard time getting her to stay still and look at the camera, as soon as I got a little closer to take a close up picture so that the fisheye effect would be more pronounced, she would immediately raise her paws wanting to play with me.
Finally, after several attempts, which I also share in the photo set, I was able to dry a ball image close enough to distort her cat-like shape and find some resemblance to a Lemur.
As a reward, my kitty received an extra ration of her favorite fish croquettes, as you can see in the last image I share with you.
Best regards.
