This is Milk dough garnished with some thyme and glazed with egg white. Milk dough is just flour/yeast and milk.
The egg white glaze gives us this crispy golden brown crust.
Milk dough tends to be a lot fluffier than dough made with water. With this recipe we get a crispy crusty and an interior that is fluffy like a cloud.
First I add some cheese while the bread is still warm , this will help the cheese melt.
Next up lets add some crispy bacon...everything tastes better with bacon :D.
Some nice green iceberg lettuce to finish it of.

Today for lunch I whipped up a loaf of milk dough bread and cut a slice of to create a tasty bacon, lettuce and cheese panini.
If you've never cooked with milk dough try it out , you just replace the water in a dough recipe with milk.
You can also add some butter and egg yolks if you want some extra flavour. This batch was made simply with milk ,dry yeast and plain flour.The resulting sandwich was delicious :D.
