On my walk through El Hatillo with my sister who came as a tourist to Caracas; we went to the Hannsi handicraft store. This more than a store is an art center or a museum of Venezuelan folklore.
A few years ago I sold merchandise to her. I customized my Puzzlesorios accessories with Venezuelan motifs. It was for their branch in Centro Comercial el Hatillo, which is much smaller than the one we visited this time and which is the main one, very famous for many years.
If you go to Hatillo you have to visit it, because you will be able to see a great part of Venezuela in one place; especially if you come for a few days or even many, because visiting everything this country has to offer requires a lot of time.
This will be a series of several posts because I took a lot of pictures and I missed a lot to take too. What I didn't remember was how huge the store was. It is also that they expanded it, although not for the sale of handicrafts, but for a beautiful cafe that impressed me. They bought the shop next door, which is huge and looks very cozy for lunch or coffee.
The trip to Hatillo was short because my sister had an engagement, but we spent most of it inside this store, observing the wonders of our handicrafts. En mi paseo por El Hatillo con mi hermana que vino de turista a Caracas; fuimos a la tienda de artesanía Hannsi. Esto más que una tienda es un centro de arte o un museo del folklore venezolano.
Hace unos años le vendí mercancía. Mis accesorios Puzzlesorios los personalicé con motivos de Venezuela. Fue para su sucursal en el Centro Comercial el Hatillo, que es mucho más pequeña que la que visitamos esta vez y que es la principal, muy famosa por muchos años.
Si vas al Hatillo tienes que visitarla, ya que podrás ver gran parte de Venezuela en un solo lugar; sobretodo si vienes de turismo por pocos días o incluso muchos, porque visitar todo lo que ofrece este país requiere de muchísimo tiempo.
Este será una seria de varios post porque tomé muchísimas fotos y me faltó bastante por tomar también. Lo que no recordaba era lo inmensa de la tienda. También es que la ampliaron, aunque no para la venta de artesanía, sino para un café bien bello que me impresionó. Compraron el local de al lado que es enorme y se ve muy acogedor para comer o tomar un café.
El paseo al Hatillo duró poco porque mi hermana tenía un compromiso, pero la mayor parte la pasamos dentro de esta tienda, observando las maravillas de nuestra artesanía. No te pierdas todo el recorrido que haré con varias publicaciones que seguro te maravillarás, e incluso si te gusta el arte y manualidades te vas a inspirar bastante.
