hi friends hope everyone are doing good
today i am going to make a super
delicious and tasty chicken tikka masala
and also i am going to give a smoky
effect to the chicken to get a tandoori taste
let's get started
i have taken 500 grams of boneless
chicken and cut into small cubes
now for preparing the first marination
add 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder
add 1 tbsp salt
and half lemon juice
mix it well till the masalas are well coated
now marinate it for 15 minutes
let's prepare second marination for that
take a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of oil
to it add 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli
powder mix it with a whisk this way oil
will help to get a bright color
now add half tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp dry fenugreek leaves that is
kasturi methi
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp cumin powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
half tablespoon pepper powder
half tablespoon salt
and half cup curd
now mix it with a whisk till the masalas
are well combined
and it's done
after 15 minutes remove excess water if
oozed out from chicken
now to the chicken add the masala paste
now coat the masala all through the
sides
let's cover it and marinate it for half
an hour
now for frying the chicken take a pan
and add 2 tbsp butter
add the chicken pieces
cook it on both sides for 5 minutes
turn it on regular intervals
now our chicken is well cooked
now for smoking the chicken take a bowl
and add the chicken pieces place a bowl
in the middle you can use a steel bowl too
to it place charcoal pieces here in
saudi we get this type of ready-made
charcoal pieces you can even use regular
wood charcoal to it add 2 tbsp butter
and close the lid for 10 minutes
remove the lid after 10 minutes do try
this way you will get a restaurant style tandoori taste
now take a pan and add 2 tbsp oil and 1
tbsp butter to it add half tbsp cumin seeds
2 medium sized chopped onion
half tbsp salt
cook it till the onion becomes golden
brown in color now add 1 tbsp
ginger-garlic paste cook it till the raw
smell is completely gone
add 2 medium sized tomato puree
cook it well
add 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder
half tablespoon turmeric powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp cumin powder
now mix everything together
add if any leftover masala for marination
now mix everything together
add some water
cover it and cook for five minutes
now after five minutes the masalas are
well cooked
now to it add the chicken pieces
mix it well
add some water to adjust the consistency
now to it add half cup cooking cream
mix it well
now add half tbsp garam masala
and half tablespoon kasturi methi that
is dry fenugreek leaves
now to it add a block of butter and
finish it off with few coriander leaves
give it a quick mix and the chicken
tikka masala is ready to serve
now enjoy it with rice or roti do try
