Do you like pasta?

I do, both eating and taking pictures of it!

Actually taking pictures of food used to be part of my job. So when I saw that the new theme of the Deranged Photography Contest by Hive account@derangedvisions was food, I knew that I had to take a look at my archives :)

I made a selection of pasta shots, taken at restaurants I have visited, all over Greece. They are all taken on the spot, as the cook presented it to me, on a table of the eatery. No extra lights, no food stylists, or any fancy equipment and not much time to take the shot either. The only "luxury" I gave to myself was a small tripod.

I am fond of those shots because they are more than food shots, they are travel memories too. From the cozy Italian restaurant in Chania to the glamourous seaside fish-tavern in Kerkira, they all remind me of the place and the people I met there, along with all the tastes I was lucky enough to try out.
