Impromptu Trip to the Vet & to the Café

A summer-like Saturday today which I like of course but a guy in the neighborhood disagrees. "Darn, it feels like I'm being toasted!" he said. The air is still okay. It's just that the sun's heat is definitely scorching hot. The weather is quite odd these days. One day it's rainy, the next day it gets so cold, and other days becomes so dry and hot.

Anyway, we ran to the town center this morning because the husband secured an appointment with the Vet. Since we just had Anyeong last week, we were advised to spend at least a week with him first before we get him to his next set of vaccines and that's what we did. Luckily for us, we were just in time. Had it been a day late, Anyeong would have had to do his injections all over again. That would be very cruel, yeah?

He was very scared and whimpered when the Vet took him from me. He may have thought we were leaving him so we needed to wait for a while and let him relax before the needle went into his back. A first-time experience for us and although we had been reading, seeing it happen was something different. Anyeong didn't struggle and I credit it to the Vet's warm and nice approach. But yes, it was done so swiftly we didn't even feel we were there, lol!

Because the husband had another appointment, we rushed back home but on the way, we were feeling a bit famished so we drove to the Café for a quick bite. It's the only place we know where pets are allowed. Anyeong enjoyed the view from the balcony while we waited for our snacks.

And we took the chance to try to get some photos of him which was incredibly hard because he moves a lot and doesn't like being photographed.

The hubby ordered clubhouse as usual and lemonade which was cooling for the day. From there, we picked up some groceries and then drove back home, only to find out the husband's next appointment was canceled. Bummer, huh! But yes, that was a really quick run.
